As a result of the vast quantities of water that humans consume, is H2O on our planet gradually diminishing?
We consume and use for irrigation, vast quantities of water. Add to that the water that evaporates / condenses. As a result; is H2O – the water in our seas, lakes, rivers, clouds and so on, gradually diminishing, albeit a minuscule ‘drop in the ocean’? (pardon the pun) In which case is our planet getting lighter?2 AnswersEarth Sciences & Geology1 decade ago
Recently saw the 'Blue Planet' IMAX film which filmed the earth from a spacecraft. No stars were to be seen. Why is that?217 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade ago
