  • “Landing gear down and locked”. Nowadays, is it necessary?

Sometimes, the control tower asks me:

“Report landing gear down and locked on final.”

Today, many airplanes have warning systems that warn us about it.

Would it need? What do you think?

  • Can I change my Flight Plan in the air?

Situation: After takeoff of an uncontrolled field, you´re flying VFR (Visual Flight Rules).

Then you wish to fly IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) for landing in another aerodrome.

Could I do it? How is done? What is it? Would you give any source to me?

    Thanks.

  • How is an ATC Clearance?

    Situation:

One day, my Flight Plan had a wide route and the controller told the full route, position by position, like my Flight Plan filed.

Then I read back the ATC Clearance.

Does it have to be like that? The controller really has to tell the route full of your plan? Why?

  • What´s meaning of PULL UP?

    Situation:

I was flying VFR and close to land in the runway 27 when the controller asked me: “PULL UP, straight ahead after 1500 feet turn left to traffic pattern, report downwind leg runway 27.”

What does the controller want? You know? Where could I find about PULL UP?

    Thanks.

  • You are on final, What is procedure for each case?

Hi, pilots, I have some questions:

Your airplane is on final approach of runway 15, you are flying IFR (Instrument Flight Rules). You have to change for runway 33 because of the wind. What do you do? What is procedure?

Now, you are flying VFR (Visual Flight Rules), and again you have to leave the final of runway 33 because there is something on the runway. Then, what do you do? What is procedure?

What is difference between both procedures in your opinion? Where can I find about?

    Thanks.
