Should my bf be responsible for picking up the slack for his bff s lack of assertion when dealing with his OWN girlfriend? More deets below.?
My boyfriend is a nice guy and his best friend is nice too but sometimes he asks my boyfriend to do things that are out of his way. Like just recently he called my boyfriend asking if he can pick up his girlfriend because she s alone and crying and other times he requested that he drive her home. He doesn t have a car but that s HIS girlfriend and HE should be responsible for her. The girl has had (and is having) a hard life and I feel for her, but I think her boyfriend is capable of taking care of her himself. Am I overthinking it, or should I speak up about it? I think it is so annoying and weird.1 AnswerSingles & Dating3 years ago
How can I rise above fakeness and racial clans at work as the only black girl amongst Latina coworkers?
I work in a beauty supply store. All of my coworkers except one are full Latina; the other is if mixed race. I ve been working there for 5 months and I m starting to see fake smiles (that I didn t see before) and hostility from my coworkers. It started when I misplaced wigs and asked if anyone has moved it seen it. It seems like they got defensive all lf a sudden after that. Whenever I try to be the bigger person, no one notices; however I think one girl did. How can I rise above it so that I m not misunderstood? I m simply just practicing communication at work since we re supposed tl be a team.3 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups4 years ago
I m a virgin; my boyfriend is a virgin too. The only difference is that I want to wait until marriage. Our relationship has been rocky (on and off) this year due to sexual frustration and I have definitely noticed mood changes from my boyfriend. A month ago we came to the mutual decision to make it work. But now he s mood-swnging and acting shady again. I know for a fact that the mood swings we both have is actually sexual tension. Should I stop being selfish and let him go for good?2 AnswersSingles & Dating5 years ago
I broke up with my boyfriend due to the fact that I seriously need to love myself first situations. I want the relationship to be a happy one so this was my idea. We both look forward to getting back together after college and/or when I feel ready. Do you think this is a possibility? Does it sound like we will get back together after I work things out for myself and after he finishes college?
Background: We both in colleges nearby and both have a really close, unbreakable bond. He also agreed with breaking up so he can finish college without distractions but he thinks it s his fault why I chose to break up with him. At the same time he says he will probably start dating again "to have fun" but he doubts he ll find a bond as strong as what we had. I will probably start dating again too and I agree. :(2 AnswersSingles & Dating5 years ago
My s/o is heading to college locally and he distances himself or pushes me away when I act "lovey-dovey". Well, recently I met a guy friend on the bus and we were talking about relationships, I asked him if he was in one, he said yes but it failed because she "loved on him too much" when he was trying to study. I feel like people come into your life for a reason and maybe it was a subtle hint that I should prepare myself for the emotional distance and distance myself as well? For the better. What is my resolve?3 AnswersSingles & Dating5 years ago

I was looking at Michelle Branch's status on FB about going to see Inception with her sister, and was wondering how she is going to enjoy the movie without people staring at her and asking her questions! Do they give them private screenings? How does that work?
