Right now the pot is sitting by the window (indirect sunlight.)
After I cut down the tulips stems, should I place the pot outside to let the leaves get the energy from the sun? I want to try to save the bulbs and plant it later.
Thank you in advance!2 AnswersGarden & Landscape9 years ago
I'm 27 weeks.
I'm so stressed out/scared right now. The doc just informed me that I have GD. I'm still waiting for diabetes educator to come to my home and educate me on what to eat, how to test my glucose level, and etc.
I want to know if any of you have diabetes AFTER given birth? How are the babies now?
P.S. They told me to be on low carb diet, no fruits or juice right now till the nurse comes.
Thank you so much ladies! I really hope I can control this beast by exercise and diet alone.6 AnswersPregnancy10 years ago
I know we all need the basics; diapers, wipes, pacifier, swaddling blanket, and etc.
But what one baby item that you can't live without (excluding baby basics?)
Link to that item would be greatly appreciated.
It's crazy how much crap the manufacturers/stores/other moms make you think you NEED! I would never pay $700 for a stroller. That is just crazy to me.
I'm glad I listened to my MIL not to buy the baby genie because the smells of diapers cooking in there during summer time would drive me up the wall.
My mother also told me that I don't really need a changing table. You change baby wherever you are; carpet, couch, and etc.
It has been almost 3 years since I had a baby so I would love to to know the recent baby gears/gadgets that are life saver!!!!
Thanks a million!11 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago
I've heard that you can bargain in Thailand. Can you expect this pretty much everywhere? Please excuse my ignorance and educate me. hehe =)
- Street vendors vs. Malls (Robinson) and etc.
I would think that there are certain places that you just don't even dare to bargain. i.e restaurants?
Some examples would be great so I don't make fool out of myself! Thanks!4 AnswersThailand1 decade ago
My husband found plane tickets from CheapOair.com for $800 + ($400 tax.)
Has anyone use CheapOair before?
Price is almost too good to be true....
Fingers and toes crossed that we won't have any problem.
My husband did check with BBB website and they are in good standing.
Thanks for any help!6 AnswersThailand1 decade ago
We aren't planning on bringing a car seat. Just one less thing to worried about.
He's almost 2 1/2 yr. old and we booked him his own seat.
What did you do for those that didn't take car seat with you on plane? Did you have to bring some sort of a seat belt "converter"?
I'm looking into buying CARES (Child aviation restraining system.)
Do I really even need one? Will the airline provide some sort of child seat belt?
We are flying with Thai Airways.

I'm sure I can purchase diapers there but I'm not sure how easy or hard it is to find "the" place that sells them. Is it pretty much like here in the U.S. almost any convenient/drug stores sell them? We will be in big cities; Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and etc.
We will be there for about 2 weeks and I don't want to pack 2 weeks worth of diapers... that will pretty much take up the whole suitcase. By the way my son wears size 5 Huggies (27lbs.+)
Thank you so much for your help!
I'm a bit stressed ... flying with a toddler with be an experience of a life time. LOL6 AnswersThailand1 decade ago
My question is have you heard if it's does any harms to the baby if you put it near your tummy? I'm still really early in my pregnancy so it doesn't feel uncomfortable near my tummy. Any thoughts?
Is there a home test or something like that? Or the only way to get those #s is at the doctor's office?2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade ago
I hope we can have a little support group going on here. At least for those that are still in first trimester. (I'm not excluding anyone... if you aren't in 1st trimester and want to join, go for it.)
How are you feeling mommies?! I'm at 5 weeks and I must say I've been blessed so far... no throwing up yet. Just a little bit of nausea. Nothing tastes or sounds good to eat. I can smell things from miles away though. That drives me nuts! Bad smell is just 10000 times worst.
Let's hear about how you are feeling!!! Please let us know how many weeks.
I just bought a 2oz. one from Amazon. It smells really good. The keyword on the bottle is to use it at least 3 months. No instant gratification for me. LOL darn! Oh well.
The reviews on amazon.com was pretty good that's why I bought it. 148 reviews total!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!
Have you tried it?
Does it work FOR YOU?
How long did it take until you see results?
Thank you so much ladies!3 AnswersPregnancy1 decade ago
Is it odd to experience as early as 5 weeks?????!
When did you notice in your pregnancy? 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester?
I watched Dr. Lisa on the Doctors show awhile back and she shared the list of the must eat foods. I can't find it. If you have something similar please share. Thank you so much.
P.S. I know fruits and vegetables are good to eat but please be more specific.4 AnswersPregnancy1 decade ago
After lots of cries yesterday and last night. I feel stronger today and ready to move on. My D&C is scheduled for this Friday. I'm a little nervous about it.
For those that had D&C before were you be able to walk after the surgery? I don't know what to expect after the surgery. I have 2 yr old at home and I probably can't pick him up and etc.
Please share your D&C experience and any advice you have.
My surgery is in the morning so fasting the night before won't be a problem for me. I'm just
worry about the recovery part.
P.S. My doctor gave me 2 options. Either let the nature does its thing OR D&C. I chose D&C because I think it's best to let the doctor do it and make sure all that's not supposed to be in there come out. I'm going back and forth between D&C and doing it on my own. Decisions decisions decisions!6 AnswersPregnancy1 decade ago
I don't know if I'm worried way too much but maybe y'all can help. I just pass two SMALL light/pale pink clots. I don't know how to describe them... almost like mucus maybe? When I wiped my private it was really pale pink also but it was barely any. There's no blood or bleeding. I wiped the 2nd time and it was nothing there.
Has this ever happened to you before? I'm about 7 weeks pregnant.
Isn't miscarriage usually follow by bleeding? I don't know if this is something I should worry about and contact the doctor in the morning or let it go. AAAhhhhh I've never experience so much joy and worry at the same except when I'm pregnant! LOL5 AnswersPregnancy1 decade ago
