In a few years im getting out of the service, and will have my GI bill to use. My only problem is i never took my SAT and am limited to my community college (which is no big deal). Now i can transfer to a 4 year school after i get my associates degree, but i want to get it in under two years. My question was how fast could i get the associates degree (in criminal justice) without totally overloading myself with work? Any experiences?3 AnswersHigher Education (University +)10 years ago
I didn't know that this was even possible for the US to do, but my concern is my pay. If serviceman's paychecks don't come, would i still eventually get my money? Any idea how long it would last? This is such bullcrap, i still have bills to pay.7 AnswersMilitary10 years ago
A few days ago I went to the gym and did my usual routine for chest. Started with dumb bell bench presses (flat), and that's when it ended. I was on my fourth set, heavy weight (for me at least) and i heard a pop pop pop in my shoulder. It didn't hurt but it scared me so i dropped the weight right away.
I didn't feel much pain from it, so i went down it weight a few pounds and went back at it. Pushed up for the 2nd rep, and another pop, this time it hurt and i had to leave after that. (it all happened yesterday btw). Now today my shoulder hurts when im driving or doing any activity. If extend my arm in any direction it hurts (my shoulder). Any ideas what happened?
Should I wait a few days before i get it checked out?3 AnswersPain & Pain Management10 years ago
My friend asked me to help him out with enlisting into the military. He already tried getting into the Marines, but i knew they weren't going to take him because of he accumulated a criminal background when he was 17 or 18. He has been to a drug rehab and was recently arrested for criminal trespassing (outcome of the case pending). Am i wrong or does he not have a shot at the guard. I want to help him but i really don't got the heart to tell him that.
