I like to invite guests two hours before the actual meal.
I always serve drinks and snacks and like people to mingle and enjoy.
The problem I have is....there is always one person who does not want a drink and feels I should serve dinner right away. That makes me feel uncomfortable.19 AnswersEntertaining10 months ago
A person invites me to a wonderful dinner party, but I think it is rude to clean up EVERYTHING, before getting back to her guests.2 AnswersEntertaining1 year ago
I am getting so annoyed with these religious people showing up at my door, UNANNOUNCED and preaching the Bible to me.
They don't ask if I may be busy....having a meal, or whatever...they just start to preach, while I stand with my door wide open.
I also stand with my mouth wide open, as I can't get a word in, to tell them I am busy. Plus, I do have my own religion and go to church . I don't need someone coming to my door.
Another thing....who invites total strangers into their home.
I want to be respectful but it seems they have no respect for me. I believe they are being totally rude and it needs to stop!Religion & Spirituality3 years ago
Whenever I go to a restaurant, with family and friends, it seems like there is always one of us, who has a complaint about the steak not cooked, as they ordered it.
Sure...we can send it back, etc. but it just tends to ruin our night.
Everyone is usually almost finished eating by the time another is cooked. We came to eat as a group....not alone.
I just wondered....what is the answer?????10 AnswersEthnic Cuisine4 years ago
I have put up no parking signs in my driveway and they disappear.
What do I do to keep my neighbours from leaving the tail end of their car, in my driveway?11 AnswersOther - Home & Garden4 years ago
Last night I was driving in my car and all of a sudden there was no heat.
When I looked into the antifreeze overflow, it looked as though it was empty, so I filled it to the top.
Great.....the heat was back!
I left it idling for about 15 minutes and still heat...but when I looked into the overflow again, it was bubbling.....why was that? Everything else was perfect and NOT overheating.1 AnswerPsychology5 years ago

I had surgery on my foot and it was bandaged for about a week.
It did bleed a certain amount and felt cold.
Before hand, I had a lot of cracked skin on my feet.
Finally the bandage came off and I was able to take a good soak in the bath.
I was amazed at what happened! I cleaned my foot and every bit of dead skin practically rubbed off my foot, leaving it baby soft.
I certainly did not like the idea I had to go for the same surgery, on the other foot, but I could not wait until I was able to get into the bath again.
The same thing happened, regarding the dead skin.
I have heard that vinegar soaks, for feet will accomplish the same but I wondered if it might damage the good skin.
I would love to see those pretty soft feet again.1 AnswerOther - Health5 years ago
