I tried to repair the display on my HP ze2000 but need some more help.
Problem: The display is too dim and hardly visible. When connected to an external monitor it works very well.
Based on some online articles, I figured it was the inverter. So I purchased an inverter from ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA.....0448608925) and replaced it. Again same problem. Then I thought it must be the backlight. Since I could not find it easy and safe to get to the backlight, I purchased the LCD screen (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA.....0501959513), hoping this would definitely solve it. Still same problem. Exactly as it was in the beginning. Can anyone help?1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks1 decade ago
I am planning to buy a home theater system with blueray player and wifi. My target is to be able to watch netflix, youtube, and other internet content via this device. I have a few questions to which I need answers.
Do all wifi devices play internet content? I must get YouTube but I found out that it is blocked on devices like Roku. I have seen Samsung players on internet with "YouTube" access. Does it mean other players don't provide access? I have a Sony Bravia TV and would prefer buying an adaptable device. Any suggestions?1 AnswerHome Theater1 decade ago
I have 2 air conditioners for the two zones of my house, built 3 years ago. Second floor unit is working fine, but the one for lower level is not. Everything seems to be running, but there is no cooling. I checked the gas pressure in both and following are the readings:
with unit off, pressure in both lines is about 125-150 psi
with unit on, low side is 75, high side is 150 psi.
with unit off, pressure in both lines is about 40 psi
with unit on, low side is 5, high side is 100 psi.
Do I need a gas leak check and recharge? How much do you think it will cost. I live in Maryland.5 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade ago
