I will be purchasing a new lexus es 350 with upgrades and after taxes and freight it will be $52000 (i live in canada so thats the canadian price). Before upgrades it would be $49000. I will be financing the car and I will NOT be buying an end of year model. How much of a discount do you think i will be able to get in general off the total price? I would like to know the the usual discount amount before i go in there and negotiate.1 AnswerBuying & Selling9 years ago
I will be buying a the new 2013 lexus es350 and I am not sure if i should do an undercoat for the car. I would just the the undercoat the car and would NOT rustproof the body so its not necessary to drill holes in the car.
For my old car i did undercoats every few years but i hear that since the car is modern and its a lexus that it uses galvanized steel which wont rust. So with the galvanized steel, would i need to rust proof it? I plan on using my car for a long time.3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago
I have used conventional oil for about 10 years and want to switch it over to synthetic oil. Do i need to use an engine flush? or will it be fine if i just drain the oil properly.
Also, do you have any tips or steps when switching from conventional to synthetic oil?5 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago
Instead of the oil change light going off every 4000miles i want to change it to 5000miles as I am using a longer lasting oil. Is it possible to make this change?1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago
I am debating for between the full synthetic and the synthetic blend. My 2012 honda pilot has a factory OEM oil of synthetic blends, so i am considering using that, but i am hearing that synthetic blends is not good for the engine and I'm not sure if this is true. I don't really care about the difference in oil life/mileage because I don't drive that much. I just want the oil that is best for my engine. Between the 2 oils, will one be better than the other in terms of protecting and prolonging the life of my engine?3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago
I want to use full synthetic mobil 1 oil on my brand new honda pilot. Full-synthetic will last longer than the factory OEM oil which is semi-synthetic blend. I was wondering if the the oil change sensor light will recognize that this is full synthetic instead of semi-synthetic blend, or will it just go off early thinking that it is synthetic blend. This would very annoying since the light will say I need to change it while i still have some oil life left.2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago
I am getting a brand new car and will be using mobil 1 synthetic oil. I live in Canada, and the winters are pretty cold so i would prefer to use synthetic oil. I heard that synthetic it will last longer than conventional oil in terms of mileage, but can i use it for 4 months instead of 3 months if i am still under the 6000 miles? The reason for this is because i use 4500miles in 4months and 3500miles in 3months. It seems to early to change it at 3 months since synthetic has a lifetime of 6000miles.4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago
I am going to buy a brand new honda pilot and I want to use synthetic oil for my car but i heard its bad to mix or switch between synthetic and conventional. So does that mean that when i buy my new car, i have to tell them to put in synthetic right from the beginning? and would they do it?9 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago
The pilot has 250hp where the highlander has 270hp, but the honda has a bit more torque. Also, honda is known for their V-tech.
Here are the links to the spec:3 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation9 years ago
I'm looking for a guitar amp to play at home. I want a good brand that produces good sound quality as well as durability. I want to buy a good amp so i think I'm going to go with around 30W. But, Im debating between the Fender and Marshall. I was looking into the Marshall MG30CFX which is a 30W for $215, but the Fender Mustang II is 40W for $200. I heard that marshall has a better sound quality and that Fenders are only good for guitars. Which one do you think i should get in terms of durability and mainly the sound quality.7 AnswersRock and Pop9 years ago
I've been looking for a guitar amp to play at home, but I want a good one that has good sound and is durable. There one i really want is the Fender Mustang III for $300 since its 100W, so it seems like a good bang for the buck. Is this a good amp?
Although, i was told that Marshall has a better sound than Fender and that Fender is better of for just guitars. So i looked into some Marshall amps but they seem expensive. One that I would consider is Marshall AS50D for $360 but it is only 50W, and the Marshall MG101CFX which is 100W but is $435.
I like the how the fender is 100W and is cheaper. Also it has the LCD display which i like. Does anyone know that if the Fenders have just as good of a sound as the marshall or similar?7 AnswersRock and Pop9 years ago

Im looking for 19 inch tires for my highlander. I want the all seasons ones because I'm tired of putting on and taking off snow tires every year. Is there all season tires that will give me super high performance so that I won't need snow tires? Please suggest brands as well as the model name,3 AnswersSafety9 years ago
Im looking into buy a brand new Lincoln MKX, but I'm concerned it wont last me very long. What I need from a car, is 8 years without problems. I would usually run 120 000km (75 000miles). I have had a really good experience with Toyota. I've had my toyota for 10 years and haven't had a single problems. Do you think a lincoln mkx will last 8 years with out any problems?6 AnswersLincoln9 years ago
this is the base model without any upgrades at all. Does it have a material that looks like leather, maybe vinyl?1 AnswerFord9 years ago

Im looking into getting a ford edge. Are they reliable? Would i be able to use a ford for 8 or 9 years with 150 000km (90 000 miles) without any major problems? Main concern is with the engine not starting up after 4 or 5 years, does that ever happen?6 AnswersFord10 years ago
