  • Business name/domain name help please! 10 Points!?

Okay, so I would like to start a woodworking business, but I have a question about the business name. The original name I wanted was Walnut Grove Woodworking, but unfortunately the domain name is already taken. I highly doubt they would sell their domain name to me, so what would be some good options. .com is preferred, rather than .net...I've also thought of the name Walnut Grove Wood Products, but to me that's too vague. I like woodworking better. Whats the difference between wood products and woodworking? Also what about Walnut Grove Woodworks ? I do like my first option better though, just please help as best you can.

  • PRANK HELP!!! 10 POINTS!!?

Okay, so this girl I work with thought It'd be funny to put vaseline under my car door handle.

I attempted many times to get her back. Some pranks were small and one in particular was very well planned but it failed, sadly.

I've tried rubber snakes and fake spiders..NOTHING!

The prank that took a lot of planning went as follows:

I got ahold of her car keys (this took FOR EVER!!!) and then I rolled down her window and I put salt (like ice melt) on the ground and then put some glass pieces on her seat and some in the window to make it look like her window was broken. (it would've worked had a co-worker come up and said "I think I heard someone outside breaking some windows" -_-.

So it failed..What can I do to get her back? (I dont want to hurt her or damage property but get her good! I'd prefer a car prank but I'd settle for a good one (ANY prank will do and the more the better! I owe her X 3!!!!!)

  • eBay real estate question?

Okay, so It seems like eBay has several good deals on purchasing land. (From what I understand, in most cases when you win a bid, the money that you bid will be the down payment, and after that you start paying the mortgage, for instance $500 a month until you get the property paid off.)

First of all, how do people afford to do this? Is it a scam? Surely they're not making much if any money from doing what they're doing! (I've seen properties go for $25 down payment price, and the agreement for monthly payments was $100 or less). This honestly really puzzles me.

I've definitely seen properties that I've been interested in on eBay, but I'm not sure what to think. I (as I'm sure no one else) don't want to get ripped off. Perhaps my understanding is off. Can you please explain and maybe even give some extra information? (I'm a little slow at times haha).

Oh, and all of the land I am looking at on eBay is just land, no houses.

Now, say I build a house on it (but I still am making payments on the land and then I would have a mortgage from the newly constructed house) It would obviously increase the value. Now, would I be able to turn around and sell it to someone else and make a huge profit?

    Please help! Thanks!

  • Okay, Question about a legal term, please help! 10 Points!?

Ok, so I was looking online on some court records, and I happened to stumble upon some for a family that I know, specifically a mother and daughter. I'm curious as to what It meant.

The thing said it was a civil case and it said : "Probate- Guardianship/Minor"

What exactly does this mean? I don't think it has anything to do with custody or anything, as the woman and her husband have been married for years and haven't had any marital problems. Thanks (her parents are still alive also)

  • Please help answer my question about my bed! 10 Points?

Okay, so I decided I wanted to make my own bed out of wood (but I wanted the rails to be made out of metal in case I ever decided that I wanted to change the head/footboard at any time. When I went to the furniture store a few months ago to purchase the rails, the people obviously misunderstood what I wanted. They gave me rails like this:

The only problem now is, I am past my warranty (I never got around to taking it to the store) and due to my current employment situation I don't have extra spending money to get a different frame.

I think it may be cheaper to get some kind of tool that would carve that specific hook thing into the wood, so that it may lock in, but I have no idea where to start.

How can I get that to stay on the wood? Do I need to purchase a certain tool? Where can I get said tool? What is said tool called? Thank you so much! I do award best answer (rather than letting people vote) unless the answers are useless to me.

Also, maybe you can help me with a second question. Im wanting to make my bed look like this

How would I go about doing so? What kind of wood do you recommend? Do I use oak plywood? Something else? Thanks again!

  • Question about Bible and Book Imprinting?

Ok. So this lady from my church is Hungarian, and I was visiting her the other day and she only has one old hungarian Bible. I thought for Christmas (I realize Christmas is a week away so It'll obviously be a late Christmas gift) I would get her a new Hungarian Bible with her name imprinted on it. Here's the problem: How could I get her name imprinted on it once I get it? Where would be the best place to find a Hungarian Bible (KJV)? Please help!

  • Question about skirt length! Please Help!?

Ok. so I purchased a skirt at a second hand store not knowing much about womens sizes, and it appeared to be a long skirt, but I'm not 100% sure. The size is 10 and it is 34 1/4" long. Where would it reach on the person wearing it? (examples: floor length, knee, middle of calf, etc.) Thanks

  • Question about buying a domain name?

Ok, so I'm interested in purchasing a domain name from ...but Im confused.

Heres the email I tried to send them but it wouldn't go through:

I am interested in purchasing a domain name from you guys.

I understand you have a yearly rate (the first year is somewhere around $11.00) and after the first year it increases to somewhere around $34.00.

Is the $34.00 fee monthly (Like I'd have to pay that much a month?) Or is it yearly? (I'd only have to pay that fee once a year...but it would be divided into low monthly payments (like $4.00 a month)

Also, I am interested in possibly buying a domain name from someone else but I have no idea how to go about doing that. Thanks

  • Question about Business!!!!!!!?

Ok, so I want to start a small business that sells modest clothing for women, Christian CDs, Headcoverings, and some furniture and small wood crafts (like woodburning signs.)

At this point I can only stick with wood products (like little wood signs and such) but I eventually (like in a few years) want to expand to those other things. (and who knows what else? I may want to be like bulk foods store, or whatever someday)

My question is: What on Earth do I call my business? Both my first and last name are fairly common, so that won't work.

(At the current place I work we started pulling pranks where we would sneak up behind someone and say "Get out of there!" really fast to scare them. But eventually someone got annoyed because It became something we said all the time not just during scaring. So, we were told we cant say "Get out of there anymore" so we came up with an acronym.. "G.O.O.T" so now we run around work saying "GOOT". Its kind of an inside joke. But I would love to be able to somehow incorporate "GOOT" or another inside joke with my business name.

Unfortunately goot. com has already been taken.

Please offer suggestions. And If I may use them please clearly say so. Thanks!
