  • Why is society so messed up?

Could you list ideas on what is wrong with society and how you would change it. It could be Law to Religion to Politics ... List good and bad things. More answers the better

    1 AnswerSociology7 years ago
  • How do you see religion?

I'm raised Roman Catholic. I have also graduated at a catholic / religious school. I have bounced from almost all types of religions in my lifetime even studied ones that I have not tried. My question is in the bible it tells people to be nice to one another, be kind or love one another and so much more. The ten commandments for an example clearly states thou shale not kill another. Yet in most religions they had a cynical war, this being said they said join us or die.

If Laws and politics followed the laws of god why is society so corrupt today. Why is it wrong to stand up to change society. There was a movie "Pay it Forward" years back it was based on a real story in the states. It was about a school teacher motivating their students to inspire about the future. Although it was a social studies topic in the movie, the kid took the project and created something how the bible wanted.

It was to pay it forward, you help 3 people and they help 3 other people ... then once it spreads it gets to the point everyone is helping everyone. So where did all this greed, killing, and corrupt society come from. We need to turn back to bible and follow the commandments or create peace for everyone. Treat all equal the works

  • Is this a sauce? I'm confused?

    The question:

"My landlord used cooking spray in a frying pan and held down the button for 15-20 seconds, added 2 1/2 cups butter, 1/2 of a tomato, salt and pepper and served over pasta."

She also ate "3 bags of popcorn to herself ... with extra salt and 3 huge scoops of butter each time, which was equivalent to 1 1/2 cups of butter."

I have my Culinary Arts Ticket Level 1 & 2. I work in a kitchen with about 100 employees, with me being the sous chef. I have refurred into my text books several times trying to see if my landlord's mother wanted her child to have a heart attack or just wanted her children to become fat. :)

My landlord claims her mother has her "Red Seal Ticket" (4th year of Culinary Arts), and has been cooking for 45 years witth it.

Personally I find this disgusting, I as a chef would never make somehing like this. I have asked 41 of my chefs, even my prep cooks and dishwasher that works under me and they haven't heard of such a thing; nor willing to give it a try for the customers. I agree!

And she wonders why no one wants to date her. You have a chef in the house and you refuse to learn how to cook. I think your so called "Red Seal Chef" mother wanted you dead with this sauce.

My suggestion scrap the so called mothers dish because that much cooking spreay is so not good for your health, also where is the nutitional intake on that much butter. Ok I see you added a tomatoe, but that doesnt even count as a serving.

  • Should a criminal have the right to apply for a pardon without the victim's consent?

Should a criminal have the right to apply for a pardon without the victim's consent? I personally think you need their permission then you at least say you entered society honorably.

I committed a bad crime with my ex with a knife. I held a knife to my ex's mothers neck then went to jail.

Besides the charges "Getting pardons are too easy to get. I refuse to apply for one without their consent."

Am I wrong to ask the victim's family to enter society again honorably. I can jump though the hoops with out their permission but feel wrong doing it.

    Whats your opinion?

  • I'm having problems with my new SD Card?

I just bought a new 8 gig SD Card but never used it. When buying SD Cards I format my card in my camera before taking pictures with my Nikon D3000. The problem I'm having is simple. The camera took pictures wonderfully and I'm now on my computer and having it say I need to format it. I keep saying no but never had this problem before. If I format the card now I will loose all my pictures. How do I fix this problem and view my pictures on my computer, so I can fix them up or upload them to a selling site.

    Thanks for your time,

  • What is the hottest thing you have ever eaten?

Question 1: What is the hottest thing you have ever eaten? (Not spicy hot like hot sauce!)

For me sizzling bacon right off the boiling oil. No drying it or cooling it down neither.

Question 2: Name 5 daring things you have done.

Me: Skydiving, rock climbing, triple back flip off a 150 foot drop off a rock, paintball, Motorcycles

Question 3: Name 5 daring things you like to do.

Me: Hang glide, surfing, scuba diving, cave dwelling, swim with the sharks

Question 4: Whats the best prank you have done to someone.

Me: Oh I have done so much **** its unreal. From spiders, to fire to firecrackers. Personally I don't have a best prank. I put saran wrap on my neighbors door on April Fools I made it look like there was nothing there. I did it at 11:30 pm because we went to the bar from 9pm to 2:30 / 3am. She was so wasted she didnt realize the saran wrap on the door. Oh man did she ever freak.

  • How old should a female grow breasts, or have a period?

Question 1: How old should a female grow breasts, or have a period?

Question 2: What is in are food, lifestyle that makes females prematurely develop these problems.

I randomly over heard this father say in London Drugs to some lady he knows about his 2 year daughter. That she started to grow breasts 3 weeks before her 2nd year of age. The father later stated to this lady that she has had 3 periods since then as well.

This young girl looked younger then my niece, my nice is almost 5 this summer. This young girl had breasts size of a 8-14 year old. When I looked at her, yes she was over weight but her breasts really stood out over her weight. On top of that she has had 3 period since then the father stated to the lady. I had to nicely clarify with the father and ask him if it was this girl he was talking about. The wanted to kill me for even asking. I talked him out of calming down and to release those fists and I meant nothing by my comment.

    Another Question:

Does that mean 2 years old's can become pregnet?

    * In my Opinion*

Contact Health Canada for one! I Don't have an answer or any idea on what to do or say!

  • A priceless poem I just typed up!?

I wrote this to Kaitlyn on facebook. She will read when she wakes up in the morning.

    Kissing footsteps in the snow

Answering calls as they whispered in her dreams

    Interested in her feelings

Tears slowly fall down her soul

Love is harsh but someday it will take her away forever

    You look at his eyes

Notice that he will be waiting for you in the morning

While a guy whispers Kaitlyn in her hears.

    Enjoy your sleep!
