  • Property On the Brink of Foreclosure?

In spring 2004, a person a know bought a house by signing a contract to that person who sold the place. Well, most recently, that person had a notice that some law firm threatened to foreclose the property as a result of the person who sold it to them was in default of the payments (nearly $11,000) and had owed a substantial amount of property taxes to the county in which it was not paid in more than 17 years (that's a long time). The person who bought the property from the person who sold it wants to work out with the law firm to buy the property before it auctions in a month to buy the place but needs a loan but her credit rating is terrible and had been paying the house payments for it every month since buying it and had worked so hard to keep this place from foreclosing. Had some trees planted as well. She also wanted to find out the bank/lending company which had been financed by so maybe that person who bought the property can take over the payments from the person who sold it after like I said had worked hard to prevent foreclosure. That person had nearly a month to work out a plan to save the property or it is auctioned. What can be done to save it? Neither the law firm or the person who sold the place to the person I know has not returned calls.

  • Who orders ice water (with or without lemon) when they eat out?

As a result of drinks in restaurants average over $1.50-$2.00 or more for all-you-can-drink soft drinks/iced tea, etc. In an effort to keep the restaurant bill as low, I normally order water with lemon? Does anyone do the same? What about coupons for restaurants found in entertainment books and newspapers (Sunday coupon sections for example)? Does anyone do the same? What do you think? I know that eating out cost a lot of money these days?

  • I'm afraid of certain things. What should I do?

I'm glad my mom made the right decision by not being with my stepdad ever again. By now I'm afraid, my mom is getting back together with him and I don't approve of it because they got married too quick and since they did, I'm afraid it will cause a lot of problems and it did and I can't discuss them. I can't say anything bad about my stepdad. I'm 24 years old and live with my mom and don't have a job (I know it's not normal to do that.). I also don't have a car and money. I was worried that I was going to go homeless. I don't know what to do. Should I get a hold of other family members and start a new life with them? I don't know what to do otherwise. Can anyone help me? I want everything done as soon as possible. What should I do?

  • Does anyone think Roger Goodell (NFL Commissioner) is doing great running the NFL?

One to two years ago, Roger Goodell took over as NFL Commissioner. He had does numerous acts such the player personal conduct policy (Mr. Goodell handed out heavy suspensions to Pacman Jones, Tank Johnson, just to name a few.)and working the league to schedule a regular season outside the United States (making the NFL establish and maintain great relations with fans all across the globe) and working to get the Pats-Giants games to everyone who doesn't have the NFL Network. How do you rate Mr. Goodell's overall satisfaction as NFL Commissioner? Do you agree with him on his policies like the personal conduct one? You know that Mr. Goodell isn't playing with such stuff like Pacman Jones did? I agree what he did. Being in the NFL is a privilege, not a right. Like other corporations, it is a business and players have to be held responsible for their own actions. What do you think about that? Do you think Mr. Goodell is doing a great job of being the Commissioner of the NFL?

  • After digital transition, will standard analog cable will work the same?

I have a TV with only the standard analog cable package (CNN, ESPN, etc.). I am worried about digital transition. After February 17, 2009 (when it takes place), will standard analog cable work just as fine. What about buying an HD tuner with that? Is anyone worried about similar situations as well? Do I need digital cable after that date? Do I need to buy a digital converter box or buy a TV with digital signals just in case?

  • Is A State University Employee An Employee of the State Government?

If a person is employed by a State University, then does that person work for the State Government. After all, its Board of Regent members are appointed by the State Governor and the institution is state-supported (supported by the State Government). I'm just asking.

  • What do you think about this?

In my junior year of high school, some girl I had known for years asked me to marry me and accepted. I was thinking about going to the same college as her. Later, the girl said that it wasn't a great idea. There are some reasons to support that and one of the reasons is that is the girl had a future and her future is to go to college. I had a future, too and I praise her for that. Now it's after high school and I never seen or heard from her again. I might see her at the class reunions. By then, she's already moved on. Has this happened to you? Well, time to move on, time to do so. Marrying her earlier is not only going to ruin my future but her future as well. Do you agree with that?

  • Is that touchdown ruling legal?

Last night when the Cowboys-Colts played, when the Colts scored their only touchdown, when the receiver caught the ball, his foot was down. Can anyone please tell is that legal? I would say that ruling was an incomplete pass rather than a touchdown? If you don't agree with that, do you think that Coach Phillips should have thrown a challenge flag? Well, it's too late now. The game is over and the 'Boys won. What do you think about that?

  • Settling Disputes and Becoming Good Friends? How do I do that?

I told a guy that I wanted his girlfriend a couple of years ago and had thoughts on hurting him which aren't great things to do. Now they both may have completely given up on me. I understand that I could not have my way. I understand that I have to move on to someone else because the girl is with that guy. I sent MySpace Friends Requests but turned down them and never told me why and never replied my messages. I asked a past question about not wanting them to become friends maybe because it won't be fair that I wanted to be friends so I can be closer to his girl. Maybe they turned me down because I might cause a lot of trouble. The guy and I are more like Shaq and Kobe. All I wanted is to settle those disputes and become friends with both of them. I wish I'd get Dr. Phil to settle it. What can I do to settle it?

  • Did you and wife/girlfirend/husband/boyfriend met while you were fraternity and sorority members?

I am just asking. Are fraternity/sorority members more responsible and mature while in college? I left college hopefully go back sooner or later. Lots of those members were doctors, lawyers, CEO's of the biggest companies in the U.S., famed artists, musicians, athletes are alums of their respective fraternity/sorority. Should I join one if I do go back to college? I know that I don't have to be in a fraternity to score a sorority girl. I am just asking if you and your wife/girlfriend/fiancee/husband/boyfriend met while you both were fraternity and sorority members while in college.

  • For those with an upcoming wedding (getting married in the future): What food do you prefer at your reception?

For those who plan on getting married in the future, what food do you like to have at your reception? For me when I plan on getting married, I'd just would like to have BBQ (nothing too fancy) like chicken, ribs, brisket, coleslaw, baked beans, and potato salad as well as pecan pie, apple pie, and peach pie and iced tea (choice of sweetened or unsweetened) with lemons. I am a Texan and BBQ is the king there and I love BBQ. What do you like to have to eat at your wedding reception besides that wedding cake and punch?

  • Should minors (under age 18) be allowed to have a Myspace Account?

I need your opinion if minors should be allowed to have a Myspace Account. Because of safety and security reasons and criminal activity happening in the news most recently (online explotation, child molestation, etc.), I agree that minors under the age of 18 to have one of those. Do you agree or disagree with minors never having a Myspace account and why?

  • My Thoughts About The Video On The Web About Children Misbehaving In Restaurants?

I saw a video from ABC News on the web about children behaving in restaurants. When I was a youngster, I behaved that way. How about you? You know what would I do if I had children and they misbehave in restaurants, I would give them a warning and if they keep acting that way, they will be in the car full stop (I would roll up the windows if hot outside.). I learned that technique from ABC's Supernanny. To keep them occupied during the visit, I would have them bring crayons and coloring book and other stuff. Would you have a plan in place if you have children that misbehaves in restaurants (You would probably whip them but with all due respect, I am completely opposed to spanking; Spare the Rod, Spoil the Child, etc.)? What would you agree?
