This is an out-of-state relative threatening to sue (long story). Small Claims says the Plaintiff must appear personally; I just want to know if there are ever exceptions where a proxy is allowed to appear in the Plaintiff's stead?

The episodes were about 18 hours apart with the exact same symptoms: the pain began at waist level, 360 degrees around my body like a girdle, and ran down both legs to about mid-calf. The intensest area of pain was front mid-thigh. The pain was at least a 10 on the pain scale. It subsided gradually over about 20 minutes during which time the pain came in waves rather than constant.
I was in an ER for a couple of hours and nothing was done. I signed myself out when the pain went away. My family doctor has not ordered any tests...said we will "keep an eye on it."
Have any reader experienced anything like this? Or anyone have any ideas what could have caused it?3 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade ago
