This was a great game in the 90's...Talk about a blast from the past, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade ago
I think he puked, but it was more like a sneeze and all these seeds came shooting out of his beak. He seemed okay after that, and it never happened again. Why would he do that?7 AnswersBirds1 decade ago
I used to do 30 minutes on the elliptical, then I would do 3 sets of 20 with 5 lbs weights. P.S. I'm a female with bad shoulders, so more than 5 lbs is painful. Anyways, I'm now mixing it up...ie. 10 minutes on the elliptical, then 1 set of 20 reps, then back on the elliptical for another 10 minutes...followed by another set of 20 reps...finishing off with the final 10 minutes on the elliptical, with a final set of 20 reps. Would this be a sort of circuit training? Do you think this workout is effective.4 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade ago
I thought birds only moulted in the spring. He did that already, but now it's the end of June and he's shedding his feathers again?
I noticed lately that I haven't been replacing my cockateil's food as often as usual. I was wondering why he wasn't eating it as much. He wasn't sick and was his usually lively and happy self. Then I noticed that the newspaper at the bottom of his cage is all chewed up. I put 2 and 2 together and realized that he's eating the paper and not his food. This can't be good for him! The obvious thing would be to remove the newspaper, but what else could I put at the bottom of his cage. I heard that grit and gravel is not good for cockateils.Any suggestions as to how to solve this problem?4 AnswersBirds1 decade ago
Hi all: I got a very bad mouth sore on the roof of my tongue in the winter. It lasted about a month and it was so painful. Anyways, it has gotten a lot better and smaller, but it hasn't totally gone away. It acts up again when I eat citrus foods, and now, i'm finding that air conditioning is aggravating it. I suppose I should go to the doctor or dentist to check it out, but i'm hoping it will eventually just go away.9 AnswersDental1 decade ago
Ok, I asked this question last week, but I don't think I was too clear. I want to find out if my tiel is a male or female. I was told that one good way to find out if it's female is to see if it lays eggs. My tiel will be a year old this July. If it is a female, when would it start to lay "unfertilized" eggs.5 AnswersBirds1 decade ago
Hi everyone. My one-year old male cockateil started pooping very black poop today. Before I panic, I noticed that he has chewed up some of the newspaper in the bottom of his cage. Do you think that might be the reason? He seems his usually frisky and lively self otherwise. Doesn't seem sick at all.2 AnswersBirds1 decade ago

My tiel is almost a year old now. The pet store said it was a male, and the vet thought he was a male as well. One thing though, is now "he" is acting like "he" might be ready to lay an egg, lol. I hope it's just that, and he's not sick or something. I need some advice. I use to have finches, so when the female was ready to lay an egg, she would get really "fat", tired and would eat soooo much. I never noticed if her droppings changed or not. Well, now my cockateil is "fat", is tired, is eating A LOT, and for a couple of days the droppings have been hard and yellow. Now they're white and hard....Not sure what the problem is. Any wise words?1 AnswerBirds1 decade ago
Hi: I have a cockateil that's just under a year old. He's doing new and funny things every day. Lately though, when he steps up to my finger, he spreads his wings and holds them like that until I start to laugh at him. Why is he doing that?7 AnswersBirds1 decade ago
I'm confused. Some people say pellets and some people say seeds. I give my bird half pellets and half seeds, but he prefers the seeds and complains when all the seeds are done. I do give him some veggies and some fruit, and a treat now and then. Any suggestions?
