My cat finally had her kittens on 03/15/2012 5 cute little kittens..She is a first time mom and seems to be doing pretty well..I have read multiple do's and donts on what to feed her but id like ur advice as well.. 1. Is it good to feed the nursing mom milk? I was worried about the milk production because the kittens seemed to be meowing a lot yesterday afternoon. 2. How do I know if she is producing enough milk? My cat since she has had the kittens on multiple occasions moved the kittens. They are now in my closet (which is a walk in) I put about two blankets and some bath towels in there. 3/ Is it ok for the kittens to be in there? I was thinking mabye them having alot of room to roam around in the closet wasnt such a good idea.. There was a few times the kittens were all spread out and mama seemed stressed, so i picked the kittens up, and moved them together, started petting my queen cat and she began to calm down then lay down and started nursing.. Please let me know what you think about all this.. Kittens are doing well (except for lots of meowing) as far as i can see they are eating and thriving..thaOh one more question 4. Can I give my kitty steak and meat cut up real small? She loves to eat what we eat.. Oh and Tuna is that ok?? Oh, ps I have her on Iams kitten food and lots of water ;)

How do I get my 2yr old to go to sleep in her bed without me having to be in the room while she falls asleep?
Unfortunately at a early age I spoiled my daughter.. When she was a week old she started having seizures in the middle of the night..From a week old till about 4 months old I let her sleep in bed with me, I was soooo scared for her to be in her crib or bassinet that I let her sleep with me in fear of her having a seizure in the middle of the night and suffocating.. From 4mo to now I have always stayed in her room with her till she fell asleep. Welll now she is 2 and no longer has seizures.. She is still in a crib because she has never tried to escape the crib.. But I have to rub her back and stay by her crib till she falls asleep now.. I want to be able to just put her in her crib and leave the room without her crying for me. Does anyone know how to do this? I remember watching a super nanny show where she just let the kid cry till she falls asleep?? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated ;)6 AnswersToddler & Preschooler9 years ago
