Eclectic, eccentric, bookish, animal-loving. Devout Christian who also knows how to think analytically (the two are not mutually exclusive.) The most beautiful sight on earth is the lace of leafy branches against a blue sky. The most wonderful sounds are the sea and the rain, and the voice of my beloved. Love independent movies. Love music. My ambition in life: to put the human back in being.
I make them with self-raising flour, and follow recipes by experts. I see them on Youtube and they rise nicely. Mine just don't. Is it because we're having a heatwave?9 AnswersCooking & Recipes3 years ago

I asked a question and got one useless answer. Instead of submitting to a vote (and I can't find an option for that anymore, either) I wanted to delete the question but the option seems to have disappeared. Where is it?4 AnswersYahoo Answers4 years ago
Why am I not getting questions from my Contacts until after several days, and usually after BA has been chosen?
I haven't changed any of my YA settings, so that can't be it.3 AnswersYahoo Answers4 years ago

If a person is really obnoxious, and someone feels bad that they're obviously not a happy person inside, and need to project that on others--would you call that feeling sympathy for them, or having compassion on them?3 AnswersPsychology4 years ago
Youtube users: what does it mean when you make a comment and someone "replies" with just your screen name?
I've posted (nice) remarks on some Youtube videos and sometimes another user will post a "reply" that just says Anna.
Do they mean they liked my post, or what?1 AnswerYouTube4 years ago
I was surprised when an American Christian friend told me her denomination takes communion only once a year. I quote from her email: "Baptists, Lutherans and Methodists take communion once a year at Easter." Is this correct, or is it just in her area? Where I live in Europe it is at least once a month, in some churches every Sunday.22 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years ago
I grew up in the US and we used all purpose flour for everything. Now I live in S. Europe and I find the cake flour sold here produces cakes that are rather dry. I want to make cinnamon rolls; should I try using "strong" flour, since they contain yeast?4 AnswersCooking & Recipes4 years ago

When I empty my Spam folder on Yahoo Mail, I get the message "Here are some videos for you to watch". Is this normal?
And if it is a new "service", why would I want to watch videos when emptying my Spam folder?

There's a "study" that says this...that when a man shares a bed he prefers the side nearest the door. Is there any truth in this?
BQ: What side do you tend to sleep turned toward, your left or your right?
BQ2: Would you change to accomodate your partner's preference? I mean, if they insisted on sleeping on "your side of the bed" would you change over for them?3 AnswersOther - Society & Culture7 years ago
