  • Future career concern?

I am in the tenth grade in high school. I make mostly A's in my science and math classes(Chemistry and Algebra 2 with Trigonometry). I want to be a Petroleum Engineer when I grow up. However I'm having second thoughts on whether I should pursue this career. The world only has so much oil; scientist have predicted a downhill slope in oil supply between 2013 and 2025. On top of that, scientist are coming up with alternate fuel sources for vehicles, so that would cut off demand for oil. Should I be concerned with these facts?
