  • Disciplinary action over hear-say...?

I was given a disciplinary action from my school (university) for claims that I had said certain things against faculty. The statements were never said by myself. After telling the adiministration that they were false, they proceeded to still issue me the warning.

My question is, can they issue a disciplinary action notice for hear-say?

  • How to calculate OT for salaried employee in Utah?

It has been found that my former employer mis-classified me while I was a salaried employee and now owes me retro pay for my overtime worked. My idea of what my hourly wage should have been was my salary based on a 40hr week, where as his idea is based off min wage. Can anyone tell me what it should be based off of in the state of Utah? I have looked online many times and find no solid answer. Thanks!

  • Will i lose my fingernail?

About a week ago I accidentally slammed my finger in a truck door. I wear acrylic nails and, though cracked, they remained in place. Underneath my nail is that black/purple bruise color. How do I know if I will lose my nail completely? And how long before it might fall off?

  • I'm having a Tonsillectomy?

My question is, I heard that recovery can take 10 to 20 days. I also read that if you have a strenuous job recovery can take longer. Is that true? If so how long can recovery take with a strenuous job?

  • Help! 3-5 week old kitten won't go poo.?

My boyfriend found 4 stray kittens at his work and we decided to take one home. The kitten has no problem feeding and we have no problem manipulating her to pee. Last night we were unable to get her to go poo. My boyfriend thinks it may have to do with the stress earlier. This morning we got up feed her and started to manipulate the area and still only pee. I don't know what else to do.

Can someone please tell me if there is something else I should be trying to get her to go poo.

  • Would you find this disrespectful?

I was recently at a San Jose Sharks game and I personally thought this was very un-called for. The opponents were the Dallas Stars. The stadium was standing for our National Anthem. And every time the lady sang the word stars the entire stadium booed. I personally find it disrespectful when people talk or do not take their hats off while this song is playing. So would you find it disrespectful that a stadium full of people booed during this time?

  • For all you "PIt Bull" haters?

Please give me one logical reason, not media hyped, for why you think "Pit Bulls" should be banned.

Especially when many humane societies recommend "pit bull" type dogs as family pets because of their stable temperament, high pain tolerance, and desire to please people.

And I don't want none of that "I know someone that was attacked" BS. I want logic. Not Hype. Or a solitary personal situation. I talking as the breed as a whole, not an individual dog.

  • Should I say something to my cousin?

My niece is 6yrs old and weights 80lbs, but she's about 4'9. Her dad is a big guy!! And after my cousin had her she plumped up as well. But so do all the women in my family.

Growing up none of us were on the hefty side. And with childhood obesity on the rise, should I say something to my cousin about her daughters weight? Or should I just let my cousin deal with it her way? Please help!!

  • Is my past that big of a deal??

I've been with this guy for almost 2 yrs. I'm 24 and he's 20. I was also his first EVERYTHING!! Now he has a problem with me talking to ex's. There an ex for a reason, right!!

He also thinks that I was a slut when I was younger because of the age I was when I lost my virginity and the # of guys I've "been" with. Not that many btw and I was 14, with the guy a year and total of 3yrs.

So is it his lack of experiance thats the problem? Or is it he cant handle my past because he doesnt have one?
