In terms of marketability, titles won, main events (especially Wrestlemania). And we are just focussing on the wrestler's time in the WWF/E, no other promotion.
I would say;
1980s- Hulk Hogan (beyond any doubt)
1990s- Stone Cold Steve Austin (followed closely by Shawn Michaels)
2000s- Triple H (followed closely by John Cena)

Is it fair to say that Manchester United have had the upper hand over Liverpool for nearly 30 years? When will this change?
The cold hard facts are that Liverpool have failed to win a League Championship since 1990 whilst United have won 13 Premier League titles in this time frame. Two surprise Champions League victories do not really paper over these cracks and remember that Man Utd have also won this trophy twice in the same period.
It just seems that United became the dominant club just as the real money started pouring into football and Liverpool have never been able to chase them down since. They may have finished above United on a few occasions in the PL era but the lack of a PL title remains very apparent!12 AnswersEnglish Football1 year ago
