    A, B and C are to complete the puzzle.

    A and B will take 3 hours to complete the puzzle

    B and C will take 9 hours to complete the puzzle

    C and A will take 4 hours to complete the puzzle

    How long it will take to complete if all three of them A, B and C were to do it together.

    Answers is 12.5 h

  • Can I use Steam Mop to clean marble floors and wooden floor ?

  • Stay near London UCL Bloomsbury - Help please?

    I am staying near UCL at Bloomsbury from 13sept to 23sept .. I need a hotel / apartment recommendation for this period .. staying with my wife to help my girl before she enters into UCL the following week.

    Any recommendation for a cheap and decent enough hotel... that is within walking distance of UCL in Bloomsbury ...

    cos we do have a number of things to bring to the student hostel....

  • Which is a better buy for Asus Notebook?

    I want to buy either the Asus notebook

    U36 i5 2450M 500 GB at SGD1300

    or

    U36 i7 2629M 750 GB at SGD1500

    both specs are the same - except for the processor (with are both 2 core anyway) and the HDD given.

    Any opinion?

  • HELP - my car has no power to move from traffic light stop...?

    My car is 1.5L Nissian Latio CVT 4 year old. Last nite, at traffic light, I stop the car with the engine running... then when I want to move - I step on the accelerator with RPM going to 2300 the car hardly moved .. then slowly it begins to move, and picks up speed - when it moves it becomes normal again. However, it starts again when I stop the car at a junction.

    It feels like starting the car on a 2nd gear - but mine is an auto car CVT...

    what can be wrong...

    The "is" in "is complex" - is the source of debate...

  • how to solve this cubic equation?

    I need to use the solution to f(x) = 2x^3 - 9x^2 + 3x + 4 =0

    which is x = 1, -1/2 , 4

    to solve

    8x^3 -18x^2 + 3x + 2 = 0

    [answer given x = 1/2, - 1/4, 2]

    seems like subsitute the answer x with 2x ? How to show? many thanks
