How would you do the scaling for the function f (x) = 4 sin ((pi/2)x) + 2?
I already know the aptitude is 4 and that it is moved 2 units up.
So what would be the period and how would you do the scaling?
I know a sin (x) graph does pi/2, pi, 3pi/2 and 2pi. I'm just confused how you would change it to match the new period. Thanks for your help!3 AnswersMathematics6 years ago
