  • How do you tell a friend she is driving you CRAZY without hurting their feelings?

I have a friend who has a lot of mental health issues (eating disorder, depression, anxiety) and is driving me CRAZY. She is a nice, smart, and wonderful person to be around when she is taking care of herself. But, lately she has been calling me in the middle of the night...telling me she wants to hurt herself, that she'd be better off dead, and that she is not eating and throwing up all the time (she has bulimia). I don't know how to tell her I am not qualified to help her. I want to be her friend...not her therapist. How do I tell her I can't cross this line and she needs to get professional help and not put this all on me as it is very stressful. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated!

  • What is an 'IP' address...and how can someone tell if my computer was used for something?

Hi! I have a HUGE problem. Someone used my credit card to make numerous charges to a website you have to pay for to get access to...Anyway, when I discovered this, I called the company to dispute the charge and they said they can trace the computers IP address. They said if they trace it to me, they will not refund my money. I am a college student who uses wireless internet and others have access to my computer, which is a laptop. I am confused about the IP address and how this can effect me. How can I get my money back (almost $200.00...but it was billed over 5 months so I did not notice it missing...) or what can I do to protect myself in the future. ANY helpful information would be greatly appreciated...espically what can I say to the company if they start to jerk me around. I am computer literate...but only to a certain point...but this more than confuses me. Thanks to anyone who can help!!! Sorry for the length of the question, but I thought clarification would be helpful.

  • If Saddam Hussein has already been sentenced to death why do they continue to hold trials on other matters?

I wonder why they are continuing to go forward with more trials for Hussein when he has already been sentenced to death in his last trial. I understand that the appeals process must go forward on the first trial but I don't understand why there are subsequent trials. All of the trials (or upcoming trials) all include a sentence of death. They can only put him to death once. Why continue? Just wondering what others thoughts are on this. Thanks for the input!

  • I am a mentor to a 15 year old girl...what are some fun activities we can do together?

I mentor a 15 year old girl who is really shy. I am trying to find some fun and fairly inexpensive activities (about $20 USD per time we do something) that we can do together. We've gone out to eat and shopping so far, but I want to find something more creative for us to do. I am with her once a week for about 3 hours or so. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I've forgotten what I liked to do at 15...I am 32 now. Thanks for any advice and/or help!!

  • I dislike my boss...but like my!?

I really dislike my boss...she is difficult and aloof and just a very harsh person. But, on the other hand...I like my coworkers. I work in a halfway house and like the residents of the house. Should I quit my job (its a 2nd job...) and save myself the headaches that go along with it or stick it out. How can I confront my boss about her obnoxious behavior without her turning on me. Anyone whos been in a similar situation...advice would be helpful! Thanks.

I have about $50.00 (US) dollars to spend give or take $5-$10. Any help/ideas are appreciated. Need more details about her please ask. Thanks!
