Will he get the 10+ years, $300 million plus contract he wants?
The Cubs are the favorite to land him. With Dodgers, Red Sox and Yankees next. The Phillies could be a surprise contender as well.
Where do you think he'll land and for how much? Will he sign during the winter meetings, or drag it out up until Spring Training or longer?
Last winter was notoriously slow for free agent signings. a lot of teams didn't want to give out large contract to plus 20 or early 30 players. But, Harper is only 25 years old. as crazy at it sounds, he's just entering of the prime of his career. he stayed pretty healthy all of last year, which is a plus for him, and even though is BA was down, he still hit 34 home runs and 100 RBIs for the first time.
With him and Manny Machado topping the free agent list, it'll be an interesting winter.
