Looking at lots in the most southern county of Alabama.
Probably Geneva, al or Escambia.
I would be 80 miles to the beach.
Maybe 1 acre maybe a ,50 ish.
Not a big loan. Pay it off less than 2 years.
Then use its equity to buy a house or mobile home.
I live in calhoun county Alabama.
Might buy a lot within the greater area for under 6000.00
Maybe just big enough for a doublewide or a cabin cotrage whatever.
Even at minimum wage a lot would not be too hard to pay off.
But I know nothing about buying land.
Escept watch out for flood zones and shank neighborhoods.
Im not trying to live in luxury but could be reasonably happy with a low profile lifestyle.
Im really pulling for the south alabama idea in my head. But no practical way to check out the lots.
Using century 21 to have some standard and not a hustler trying to screw me up.
Real opinions please.
Not trying to invest or flip just live low but humble and reasonably satisfied.
