• I block my landline calls so they don't show up on someone's caller I.D. Can you answer a question about this (see below)?

I do it by dialing a code before the number. There was an electronic device that would do this for me. Merely plug into the phone line. Are these still available? Where can I get one; and for how much?

  • Re: The USA presidential election (see below), Something interesting happened 1948. Can it happen now?

After a marionette puppet, star of the children's TV show "Howdy Doody" won as "President of the Kids", his opponent came forward and said: "I deliberately acted in a disgusting and hateful way, so that Howdy would win. I take credit for his win. " Will the loser of this real election say the same? If not, if this... show more

I take credit for his win. " Will the loser of this real election say the same? If not, if this person wants to win, consider this: The USA has Hawaii & Alaska, + 48 connected states that go from Atlantic-Pacific, Canada-Mexico; mountains, prairies, forests, valleys & plains, farms, cities & towns. Throughout are people: Native Hawaiians, Eskimos, Native American Indians, & men & women who have come, from as far back, as, at least, 1620 A.D., from all parts of the world, of every race, religion nationality, lifestyle, sexual orientation, etc. All expect to be treated equal. They'll accept Liberals & Conservatives. But, I highly doubt they would elect a Radical. Especially this Ultra-Radical, who's so naïve they seem unaware they're one; who doesn't seem to understand the diversity of the land, its history, and its people. Polls aren't always right. They don't know who'll win, or by how much. I predict a landslide.

  • "Zone 60" video game console has built-in games. I have questions about 2 of them. Can you help (see below)?

Games: Mystic Totem - I assume the game is supposed to work like this: You have 3 pegs and 3 rings, all on the left hand peg, arranged bottom to top, largest to smallest. You then arrange them exactly the same way on the center peg, while at no time during the process placing a larger on top of a smaller peg. But, there are only 2 rings!!! And,... show more

And, there seems to be nowhere to get another one. Could someone have botched some computer source code so the 3rd ring doesn't appear? The picture with the instructions shows 3 rings. If I was to exchange the game would I likely have the same problem with the replacement? Hay Bales - Push: "A" and the man is supposed to pick up a hay bale. Nothing tells how to put it down. Sometimes he will pick up the hay bale; other times he merely tips his cap!! I don't understand exactly what are you supposed to get him to do; and, how? Is he supposed to climb up on the bales? Try to level them off so there's the same number of bales in each horizontal row?

  • I asked a question here today. Already: 2 wrong answers! Does anyone have the right one (see below)?

The 2 people thought I was looking for; "You Are My Hope" by Skillet: a totally different and probably much newer song than the one I'm looking for. Mine is probably from the 1970's; containing the words: "...you are my life, you are my hope, you are my everything...". How about it; title and artist?

  • Can you help me identify this song (probably from 1970's; see below)?

I believe it's by Boz Scaggs. But, Boz is known for slow, laid back songs. This is kind of a rough, hard-driving song. Sounds like this: "One for the ro - o - o - o - oad; neato, whoa - o - o - oh; E for the light, E for the show, __ for the dah dah dah, neato."

I heard it on a 78 rpm phonograph record. I don't know if it was the "Hit", or "B" side. It was about whippoorwills and cataracts. It talked about things in sets of 3, like: the whippoorwill sings, the cataract springs, the prairie dust blows (and, then, another 3 things, etc.). • I'm technology-ignorant. Exactly what is an i-pod? (Also, see below.) Is a monthly service-provider needed?

I believe they're only made by Apple computer, right? If so, would Apple computer owners have some advantage in owning one over i-pod users who don't have an Apple? Pretend I'm just 4 years old when you're giving me your answers!!! Thanks.

  • Was this song done by Blondie; or, who? (see below) What is its name? Year issued? Record label? Record number?

It goes something like: "I need time, but, I'm holding on. I want to be your #1. I'm not the kind of girl, who gives up just like that."

  • Is it possible to receive digital TV on a computer, without adding a digital tuner, or, etc. (More below)?

B/4 the change to digital, there were ads saying you could get 2000-12000 channels by computer; depending on the ad, for a 1-time fee (check search engine for: "12000 TV stations"). In addition to the above question, I'd like to know what are any negatives about receiving this TV-on-computer?
