• Do you think Major League Baseball will ever change the All Star Game format to team captains instead of AL vs NL?

  • Would this be considered fan interference?

An outfielder on the visiting team locks on to an incoming fly ball, at the warning track, when a fan in the front row behind him yells, “I GOT IT!” causing the outfielder to back away from the ball!! Also, has “Hey batta batta SWING!!” ever caused batters to strike out?

  • How much different would the world be today if the 9/11 attacks never happened?

Now, obviously 3,000 people would still be alive today, of course, barring other circumstances like illnesses and the Twin Towers would still grace the NYC skyline. But what else would be different? Would there still be a war in Iraq? Recession in 2008? Liberal media today?

  • Why do you think my former coworker is suddenly acting like this?

I work at a TJ Maxx, and there’s this woman that used to work for us. She’s in her mid 60s. She was working with us for about 5 years at the jewelry counter. She was always a nice, sweet lady. But recently, she started going crazy, spreading lies about coworkers, acting hostile towards a few of us. I’m not exactly sure if she quit or got fired. But... show more

But recently, she started going crazy, spreading lies about coworkers, acting hostile towards a few of us. I’m not exactly sure if she quit or got fired. But anyway, she then started to try to scam us with bad returns, coming in at least 2 times a week!!! And today, I took care of her at my register, but she was only buying something. She leaves, then my boss comes over acting very suspicious about what she just bought. He reprints the receipt and tells me that she had switched a ticket from a $40 item with a $7 ticket!!! She totally caught me off guard because she wasn’t returning anything and she’s never done this before!!!

  • What’s the deal with foods these days getting contaminated with listeria and salmonella?

How is this even happening? And just yesterday, Salmonella has been found in Kellogg’s Honey Smacks, a cereal of all things!?!?! And I grew up with the fact that salmonella is always linked with raw chicken, so how has it spread to other foods?

  • Anybody else find the Popeyes Chicken commercials to be extremely racist?

I mean, I’m white and even I strongly think so! Seriously, it’s literally black people singing hymns about chicken and drooling over the meal! “Mmm...this is sooo good!” You don’t find that kind of enthusiasm towards a burger in McDonald’s commercials! • Do you believe in the benefits that come from barefoot earthing, or is it simply a placebo effect?

They say that by walking barefoot on grass, dirt, or sand, we absorb electrons from the earth which supposedly gives us health benefits like building up immunity from diseases, and relieving stress and anxiety.

  • Why does it seem like struggling teams suffer the most injuries, often dropping like flies in bunches?

For example, the team is losing a lot of games, one key player gets on a hot streak, they start winning, then he goes down with an injury. They start losing again, another key player gets on a hot streak, they start winning, then he goes down with an injury. The vicious cycle continues until they’re left with underdeveloped minor leaguers. A good... show more

They start losing again, another key player gets on a hot streak, they start winning, then he goes down with an injury. The vicious cycle continues until they’re left with underdeveloped minor leaguers. A good example of this right now is the New York Mets. Compare that to a successful team like the New York Yankees, whereas one key player goes down with an injury, yet the team goes on winning as if he’s not even gone. Why does this happen?

But as you’re checking your social media on your break, you find that the coworkers that called out are AT THE BEACH, including the coworker that was unavailable to come fill in. Your boss always compliments how reliable you are but how do prevent yourself from being too reliable?

  • Why are some retail customers such cheapskates?

For example, they’re buying one of your cheapest items, let’s say it’s $5, they find the tiniest scratch and they ask for a discount. • Why do we have the strangest dreams sometimes?

Last night, I dreamt my dad and I were at the mall sitting at the food court with some Asian American girl. She asked us if we wanted any cookies, so she reached in her bag, and pulled out a pair of sneakers that were holding the cookies!!! I woke up thinking like, why? Why did I dream that?

  • Is my friend breaking any laws here?
