So what do you think about the price I was charged?

It has been six weeks (She received all of the documents) and she still has not completed my returns. She told me that she would have it done, but I never hear anything from her. I am always the one calling or emailing to get an answer. One time I called and left a message for her to call me. When she did not call me back, I called the office again and was told she left for the day. I am pretty sure she got my message. I know she cannot rush, because she wants to ensure accuracy, but six weeks is a lttle long. I know filing 2010 and 2011 returns so late is my fault, but that does not give her the right to make me wait. Should I complain to her office? Go above their heads? Take my business elsewhere? Give her more time?

  • Do military laws unfairly favor officers over enlisted?

It seems like officers get more leniency than enlisted when a violation of policy is committed. Are the laws too archaic? Is it a caste system? I respect officers and I have met a lot of good ones, but I still hate the fact that a 2nd Lt. can enter the service and have more privileges than a senior non-commissioned officer with over 20 years of service.

This morning as I was approaching home from physical training. The path to my house was blocked by a cement truck and other vehicles. I decided to travel in a different direction to get access to my driveway. Well another work vehicle was blocking my driveway. I was a little upset and just parked really close to the truck so the person would have a hard time getting out. In the process, I neglected to notice that I blocked in my neighbor who I have not met yet. When I was inside the house eating breakfast, the doorbell rang and one of the workers asked if the car outside was mine and I needed to move it, because my neighbor needed to get to work. Well I went outside and saw the neighbor and said, I am sorry, the workers were blocking my way,He responded with, I know but you should not have blocked me, I am trying to get to work. He was was not really too happy, which I do not blame him at all. I am thinking about writing him a letter to apologize, but because of the way he responded to me earlier, I am not sure if he will be very receptive. I am not even going to attempt to go to his door since it is his personal property. Should I write the letter or just let well enough alone?

I was talking to a co-worker and I told him that according to my contract, the property manager can inspect the interior for $75 if I make that request. I own a condo and it is located inside a building so there's not much for the manager to look at inside. She told me that they will drive by and look at the exterior, but she will only see the balcony of my place. I have clauses that state no pets or smoking inside the premises. I personally think that $75 would be a good investment to ensure that I have a peace of mind that my property is in good shape. My co-worker thinks that I am being too intrusive and that the tenant's privacy is being compromised because they are paying rent and they need to have their privacy. At first, I wanted to have the inspection every quarter, but I figured every six months would not be too excessive. I look at it as this is my property and I want to protect my investment. I paid a nice sum of money ($300,000) and I do not want the value to go down due to neglect. So should I have the property manager inspect every six months? No at all? How about even quarterly?

I met a young lady in Las Vegas back in February. I met her at a strip club where she worked as an exotic dancer. We were having fun teasing each other and then she gave me her phone number and told me to call her. She actually lived in Atlanta, but flies to Vegas for work. We talked on the phone a lot and when I told her that I was going to Vegas for a TDY in May, she was excited. Before then, I was not going to see her until September. She kept telling me that she wanted to see me before September. So I told her that despite our busy schedule in Vegas, I will make it a point to see her. She made to Vegas before I did and gave me a phone call, she told me that she could not wait to see me. When I arrived in Vegas, I gave her a phone call and we made arrangements to meet. We were going to meet at this casino and have dinner. Well I was running late and I called her phone. Strangely for the first time, her phone was turned off. I left her a message. I was getting worried and called twice more and left two more messages for her. I made it to the casino and waited to see if she would show. She did not make it. Then I decided to go to the club where she worked. She was not there, so I called her to let her know that I was at the club. She finally called me back and told me it was a long story and she was coming to the club. She arrived at the club and we greeted each other with a hug.She told me that she did not make it to the casino because she was drunk. Now I am thinking, why would she get drunk knowing that she had to meet me. Also, she said that her battery was drained, that was why her phone was turned off. I asked if still recognized me from February and she said yes. She seemed to be into me, she kept staring deeply into my eyes. I eventually left and I told her that I would give her a call once my flight reached my destination in VA. Since I have been back, I have text her once and left two voice mails. I have not received a returned call back from her. I am wondering if she lost interest because I called her too much and seemed a little desperate.

I moved into a new condo in January and my neighbor moved in the following month. She used to work in the sales office that sold my condo. She seemed pretty excited about being next door to me before she moved in. I thought it was pretty odd that she did not come by when she first moved in, but I just figured she was getting settled in. When I did see her in the hallway, she was like hey come over anytime and we can have a beer and I my even cook for you. I did visit her twice for maybe a grand total of 20 minutes for both visits. After that, it seemed like when I went to visit, she would always have something to do. One time the weather was getting bad (heavy rain) and her excuse was that her father had a private plane and they were going to fly someplace. Other times, I had a feeling that she knew I was outside, but did not answer the door. So I made a decision not to visit her. Well months went by and one day I saw her in the hallway and she asked why I had not visited her. I told her that I was busy and also thought that she had a significant other. She told me that she never had a boyfriend since she moved in and that I was welcomed anytime. Well I waited about two weeks and I stopped by to visit. She opened the door halfway and asked what did I want. I said that I stopped by to visit. She told me that she just woke up (it was 5 in the evening) because she was sick and had a high fever. She told me that she would call me, but she does not have my phone number. I was a little mad, but I just smiled and left. Is she telling the truth? Why is she inviting me and she is always busy? Also, she has never come over to visit me. She came by once to borrow the trash chute key. I did extend an invitation to her to visit.
