I met a young lady in Las Vegas back in February. I met her at a strip club where she worked as an exotic dancer. We were having fun teasing each other and then she gave me her phone number and told me to call her. She actually lived in Atlanta, but flies to Vegas for work. We talked on the phone a lot and when I told her that I was going to Vegas for a TDY in May, she was excited. Before then, I was not going to see her until September. She kept telling me that she wanted to see me before September. So I told her that despite our busy schedule in Vegas, I will make it a point to see her.
She made to Vegas before I did and gave me a phone call, she told me that she could not wait to see me. When I arrived in Vegas, I gave her a phone call and we made arrangements to meet. We were going to meet at this casino and have dinner. Well I was running late and I called her phone. Strangely for the first time, her phone was turned off. I left her a message. I was getting worried and called twice more and left two more messages for her. I made it to the casino and waited to see if she would show. She did not make it.
Then I decided to go to the club where she worked. She was not there, so I called her to let her know that I was at the club. She finally called me back and told me it was a long story and she was coming to the club. She arrived at the club and we greeted each other with a hug.She told me that she did not make it to the casino because she was drunk. Now I am thinking, why would she get drunk knowing that she had to meet me. Also, she said that her battery was drained, that was why her phone was turned off. I asked if still recognized me from February and she said yes. She seemed to be into me, she kept staring deeply into my eyes. I eventually left and I told her that I would give her a call once my flight reached my destination in VA.
Since I have been back, I have text her once and left two voice mails. I have not received a returned call back from her. I am wondering if she lost interest because I called her too much and seemed a little desperate.
