  • A riddle - no idea what the answer is!!?

    From my nephew's homework:

"A friend of mine who is visiting gets up at least 180 times each night, but still manages to get 7 hours of sleep. How can this be?"

    We are all stumped!

  • Baby flatulence - related to my diet?

My 7 week old son, who is breastfed, has been doing some seriously stinky farts over the weekend - honestly, it smells like something has died. I was wondering if this could possibly be related to my having eaten spicy foods for the last three nights??

I know this sounds like an amusing joke of a question, but I am looking for serious answers please!! Many thanks.

  • How to get my dog and cats to become friends?

We recently added a 5yo Labrador cross to our family. She is a very gentle and beautiful girl who would dearly like to make friends with our cats. The cats are, understandably, terrified of her and whenever she comes near them they howl and hiss and lash out at her.

Is there anything I can do to assist the cats in relaxing around her? She means them no harm at all. Do you think they will get more comfortable around her in time?

  • Appropriate toys for a Labrador retriever cross?

I am looking for ideas of what toys to buy for my 5 y.o. Labrador cross. She chews holes into tennis balls and rips into plastic toys and leaves little pieces of plastic everywhere. I am worried that she will try to swallow a piece that is sharp or too big and harm herself. We also got her some thick ropes, but our vet said that he doesn't like giving them to dogs because they can swallow them whole and it requires major abdominal surgery to retrieve them.

She just loves her plastic toys but we can't keep replacing them as she chews through them in a couple of days. Any suggestions?

  • What is the Elvis Presley reference in The Dark Knight?

My friend and I noticed that in the closing credits of The Dark Knight, there is a reference to Elvis Presley. We don't recall seeing anything Elvis-y in the movie, so we are curious about this. Does anyone know the answer?

  • Elvis Presley reference in The Dark Knight credits- does anyone know why?

I noticed that there is a reference to Elvis Presley in the closing credits of The Dark Knight - I think it is in the "The Producers wish to thank..." section. My friend and I cannot recall any reference to Elvis in the film and we are wondering if anyone else noticed anything, or knows the answer??? Thanks!
