• Really small shiny black beetle in bedroom?

I woke up the other morning to see a really small (maybe 2-3 millimeters long) round, black, shiny beetle treading across my pillow. Needless to say, that gave me the heebie jeebies and I killed it (sorry bug :[), tore apart my bed hoping that was the only one, and I didn't - and haven't - seen any more. I washed my bedding and pillows, but I can't help but worry that there might be more someplace and I haven't been sleeping well. My window was open that night and it's possible the bug got in through the window or something, but I am wondering if anyone is familiar with bug infestations and if I should be concerned about sleeping on my bed if I only saw one little beetle the day before yesterday. It was definitely not a bedbug and it didn't look like the pictures that have come up when I looked up carpet beetles, and I definitely haven't seen any carpet beetle larvae, so hopefully someone who knows a thing or two about beetles can either ease my mind, or if you can't honestly ease my mind, tell me how to prevent an infestation.

I'm going to break some bottles and plates to relieve some stress and take cool photos. what is the easiest way to clean up and recycle the broken glass and ceramic pieces? obviously I plan to do this in an isolated area and wear protective gear, I just need to know whether I need to keep the glass and ceramic separate for the recycling drop-off center, or if it is all sorted afterward at the plant. I also need to know how best to package up broken shards to prevent anyone on the receiving end from getting cuts or scrapes, and/or whether these things are more varied from place to place. I would also appreciate advice from anyone who has undertaken a similar project, and what kind of tips you might have for keeping the cleanup relatively simple or whatever else that might be relevant. thank you!

  • Need Help Killing Fleas! Fogger/Treatment Questions?

My cats picked up fleas at the vet last week and I need to find the best course of action. I am currently planning to use a flea bomb/fogger and also give my 2 dogs and 2 cats a dose of capstar blue while the defogger does it's job. Will this do the trick or am I not thinking it all through? I also have a rabbit, do I need to treat her too? She doesn't interact with the other animals and she doesn't seem to have fleas yet, but is there a safe preventative measure for rabbits? I want to use a fogger but my sister is asthmatic and I'm worried that the fogger residue could put her in the hospital, do flea foggers pose a threat to asthmatics? Also, last but not least, the bedrooms in my condo are very small - would a fogger cover several small rooms or do I need to purchase one for each individual room? Thank you very much, yahoo answers!

  • Where was the alien in last night's south park (W.T.F.)?

I didn't see it last night. I ended up enjoying the episode a little too much to catch the alien the first time around.
