So Thursday I was 2 centimeters and my OBGYN said he could feel the baby's head. Yesterday, Friday, I lost my mucus plug at my work and felt pressure from when I woke up on Friday morning. It got a bit worse then remained the same unless I picked up something from the floor of my store. It actually feels good a bit being squatted down when I was trying to pick something up, but when I would get up it was a constant struggle to get straight up and it hurt a lot worse then the pressure. (Like when I strained my hamstring when I worked out to hard.) So I called my OBGYN and he told me to go to the hospital to get checked out. They said I was 3 centimeters and that I was fine and to go home. Didn't check anything out just asked if I was in pain, I told them no that I just had constant pressure.
Now today I have more pressure and only felt cramps like pain for about 7 minutes straight and then the pain went away. But the pressure is worse than before.. I called labor and delivery and they told me unless I'm in constant pain not to come in.
So, should I call my OBGYN and get a second opinion? The hospital I have to go to because my insurance covers it is a teaching hospital and honestly I don't trust them completely. Example, my gallbladder was inflamed two months ago, the ER at the hospital Im talking about just said I was dehydrated and sent me home. My OBGYN told me to come in the next day checked me out and said my gallbladder was inflamed. So what should I do?
