• What are some key differences between the US and UK justice system?

Hi, I'm an American Criminal Justice student, so I know quite a bit about the American judicial system, but British lawyers and judges look so fancy in their scarves and wigs, so it makes me wonder: what's so different between the two? I know US law is based mostly on the Roman codified laws, so what makes British Common law so different?

  • How do you quickly change channels on an amp?

I'm planning on getting a new amp and I usually use a pedal for distortion, but I was wondering that if I like the distortion on the amp more than the pedal, how would I change between channels on the fly?

  • Safe to switch string gauge?

I'm using extra-light gauge strings for my Dot Studio guitar, but since I play metal (I know, odd combo) Id like to use Medium or maybe even heavy gauge strings for those lower tunings. Is this safe if I just switch w/o adjustments?

  • Guitar Distortion Help?

What are some popular guitar distortion settings? I'm using a Vx DA5 Amp, which has some effects and tones built in. I have no idea what "higain" and "crunch" is. I want a real good metal sound, but I have no idea what to do
