Well, I'm not even sure if I should see a doctor. I'm 20 years old, and for about a week now I've experienced constant pain in my right wrist. Sitting here typing doesn't hurt it at all, but if I move it forward or backward or put too much pressure on it it hurts. It's like if you rest your head on your hand too long and you get that sensitive feeling in your wrist afterwards. This is exactly what it feels like, except all the time. And today I noticed if I move it backwards and forwards, I feel a clicking sort of, and it hurts a little worse when that happens.
I mean, the pain is an annoyance at the most. It isn't keeping me from functioning or working, but I'm concerned that it hasn't went away. I don't think it's carpal tunnel. Should I see a doctor? And if so what kind of doctor?3 AnswersPain & Pain Management9 years ago
My dog loves to sit on the back of the couch and look out the window. But now it slightly smells of dog. Febreze will cover it up for a while, but it will come back. What's a better way to clean it?
Please don't tell me to stop letting my dog on the couch. If he didn't look out the window he would probably get depressed. Lol
I just need a way to get the smell out when I clean.4 AnswersCleaning & Laundry9 years ago
I'm on my honeymoon and I have an ear infection. I got acrylic nails for my wedding and my ears itch a lot and I scratched and caused an irritation in my ear. We bought some hydrogen peroxide to clear the bacteria, and it felt better after. But I woke up in the middle of the night that night and had terrible pain. More like tenderness I guess. I believe either the peroxide didn't drain out and got caught behind my ear, or the infection has spread. Now I have to take pain pills just to make it through the day. The outer canal of my ear is swollen again and I feel tenderness all through it. I've tried massaging my ear to try and drain fluid, a warm compress, and some swimmers ear drops to dry up possible fluid. Nothing has worked. Temporary relief maybe, but it comes back. I'm in so much discomfort! And afraid to put anything else in my ear!
What can i do to find relief quickly? We are in Disney world and we had to leave early today and go back to the hotel because I felt so uncomfortable. Please help. I want to enjoy my honeymoon and i feel like I'm making this trip horrible for my husband, who is having to take care of me.4 AnswersPain & Pain Management9 years ago
This is going to be pretty lengthy, but please read thoroughly to understand! :)
My husband eventually wants to get a German shepherd. We do own a dog already and are lightly experienced in training. I know GS need great lengths of training, I've done my research and that's why I'm thinking so hard about this decision, and I would seek professional training as well.
I thought about when we get this GS in the future, training him to be a guard dog as well. What I really need to know is what kind of laws do you have to abide by to own a guard dog? Like a warning sign on your property, a license, etc.
Can anyone link me to a page about this? I've googled but can't find anything that I'm looking for.
Please keep in mind that I am doing my research about training, schools, and hiring a professional trainer. I want to be very familiar with everything I need to know before I surprise him with a GS puppy (probably for his birthday in a few months). Im not going into this blind and I know there is a lot to learn and that's what I'm doing!4 AnswersDogs9 years ago
We booked our Disney world honeymoon back in march, our hotel (Disney resort) stay and our tickets for august 7-13. I combed through all my confirmation emails, the FAQs on disneyworld.com, and googled, but I can't find the answer to my question.
How do you get your park tickets? I never received an option to print out my tickets, or got any information after booking as to how i acquire them. Do I receive them in the mail? Retrieve them at the park gate? Or get them when we check in to our hotel?
I emailed Disney about this, but I won't get a response for about 5 days. I was hoping to resolve this sooner.1 AnswerOrlando10 years ago
You know the typical trend, evil cheerleaders, relentless football players, no one likes the nerdy kids, social classes...etc.
My high school experience was NOTHING like this. Everyone typically got along, some people had conflicts but I didn't have a mean girl in my face everyday trying to put me down. Aside from the typical disagreement, I didn't have any conflicts as depicted in all these movies.
Was anyone's high school experience like this? Or are all these movies seriously outdated?2 AnswersMovies10 years ago
I'm gonna do a self tanner and I want to exfoliate my body well. I'm home and actually not feeling up to driving to go get extra ingredients (I let my blood sugar get too low lol. Still recovering and light headed) so I have sugar but not much else. Any ideas on what I can do with it? Lol3 AnswersOther - Skin & Body10 years ago
My dog loves to sit on the back of the couch and look out the window. He rarely barks, but if we have company or the FedEx guy walks up to the door, he goes balistic! It annoys us yes, but we're on the fence about disciplining him...since he's alerting us to strangers. Is it okay if he barks in this manner? He doesn't bark at any other time unless we're playing and he gets too excited lol.7 AnswersDogs10 years ago
I just gave my shih tzu a bath, and I noticed pretty much his whole back area is a dark brown color, instead of pink. He also has dark brown spots on his legs. What could this be? I haven't changed his diet...and he hasn't been acting different...2 AnswersDogs10 years ago
I received a letter today to someone who doesn't live here anymore. I figured I could just write, "No such party living here. Return to sender." and place it back in my mailbox for pick up. Is that acceptable? Or do I need to do it differently? Ive never had to do this before lol3 AnswersOther - Home & Garden10 years ago
We have three groundhogs under our house, a mom and two babies. We tried putting mothballs under the house to drive them out but that didn't work. Any ideas??1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden10 years ago
I just restarted birth control. I'm on the pill, when I used to be on nuva ring. I only get 4 placebo pills and I take my last one today. And I only just now started my period this morning. Should I start my pack over tomorrow on schedule...or let my period finish out?1 AnswerWomen's Health10 years ago
Okay, I'm getting married in August and I'm getting a new Verizon plan with my future husband (he has at&t and he's ready to go ahead and get rid of it. He's had a bad experience. Not saying at&t is bad, but we live in an area with barely any service or 3G through at&t) soon. I have a Verizon plan at the moment. It was under my dad's name, but he got a new job and his cell phone bill switched over to his workplace, so technically it's just me on the plan, just under my dad's name. My contract has run up and I'm paying month to month fees.
Since I already have a plan, do I need to cancel it before I get a new one under my name (or my fiance's?) And does my fiance need to go ahead and cut off his AT&T before we go to get the new plan? I'm really not sure. I don't know if when we go to Verizon if they will take care of all this, or if we need to do it prior.
What should I do?3 AnswersCell Phones & Plans10 years ago
About wanting the US government just to be honest? To stop worrying about money and just follow simple rules of humanity? Be kind to others, be honest, help those in need, be generous...
I would like to be a proud American but I don't even know what that means.

My grandmother is usuallly my dog sitter when I go on vacation, but my fiance surprised me with a weekend away, and my grandmother is out of town. He's going to be staying in a great place. Every person I talked to for a reccomendation for a kennel urged me to take him to this place. He has a roomy cage inside that is heated/air conditioned, and a dog door where he can go outside to a small piece of yard whenever he likes. They also let the dogs run free 3 times a day in a larger yard to play with each other. I know he's going to get quality care, but I'm still afraid that he will get lonely, as he doesn't like being left alone.
What can I do to make him feel more comfortable during those few times while he's in his room and not getting attention from the workers or other dogs?10 AnswersDogs10 years ago
I've been getting my hair professionally highlighted blonde for 8 years now. My mamaw does it, she's a licsensed beautician and a very good one at that! Right now, she's going through a lot and I don't want to bother her to ask her to cover up my ugly roots (she does it for free). I was thinking of using home hair dye (the foam kind) to do it myself. Since I have highlights already in my hair, will it look okay? or will it be a crazy mess of a bunch of different colors?
FYI my hair takes color very well. Especially blonde.3 AnswersHair10 years ago
I'm stuck between three I REALLY like. I seriously can't decide. Can anyone listen to the three I have picked out and kinda give me your thoughts on what you would choose and why?
I know, before anyone says anything, that it's MY wedding and it should be left up to me, but these are the ones I want, I just can't decide from them. Hoping to get some outside advice on what others think. Even if you hate them all, please tell me. Just looking for opinions! :)
1. Pro: I like this one because it's really heartfelt and hits a homerun father/daughter wise.
Con: A little too generic.
2. Pro: Has a female/male singing part, seems to make it feel more special for me.
Con: Not technically a wedding song, but still works.
3. Pro: The most heartfelt of them all and it's made for a father/daughter dance.
Con: It's been played at like 100 weddings I've went to in the past couple of years lol.3 AnswersLyrics10 years ago
I'm actually not stressed. The thoughts that run through my head at night are just that, thoughts. Just general things like how excited I am to get married soon, what I'm gonna do on my day off tomorrow...etc. Actually what kept me from falling asleep tonight is I watched a commercial for the lottery before bed, and I stayed up for an hour just imagining what it would be like if we won. I gave up and came back into the living room so my fiance wouldn't wake up from my tossing and turning.
I know the simple answer is to relax and unwind before bed (hot bath, reading, etc) but this has only just started a week ago.
I am NOT a night owl, I usually get sleepy around 9pm or 10pm and I used to fall asleep quickly when I'd lay down.
I could understand if this was a stress related thing, but it's not. This is the least stressed I've ever been in my life, even while I'm planning a wedding.
Anyone have ideas how I can go to sleep easier?2 AnswersPsychology10 years ago
I'm going to the "lady doctor" next week for my annual check up. Also I'm going to get back on birth control. I was on the Nuva Ring for a while, but it wasn't comfortable, kind of got in the way, and came out a lot and I don't want to go back on it...even though it was easier.
Just kind of wondering what birth control types others are on and what they think of them from personal experience. I don't want to try the Seasonique though. Although they claim it's fine to have four periods a year, I just don't think it's safe.2 AnswersWomen's Health10 years ago
I try and bathe my Shih Tzu as little as possible because of his dry skin. He gets groomed every six weeks and in between that time I only bathe him twice. He rarely scratches or has irritated skin anymore because of the infrequent baths, but I'm so tempted to bathe him every week because he gets to smelling bad pretty quickly!
Any ideas how to keep him fresh and clean and smelling nice in between bath times?5 AnswersDogs10 years ago
