I'm hoping to become a psychatrist in the future, and I want to attend a really good college. Does anyone know of any Ivy League schools with a good psychiatry program? Also, I'm not quite sure I'm ready to move to the Northeast, (I live in CA) so if you know of a good college that could be considered somewhat equal to an Ivy League school and near my area with a good psychiatry program, it would be greatly appreciated. If you have any recommendations or anything else, it would be very helpful. Thank you very much!

OK, I'm going to Knott's Berry Farm (Buena Park,CA) with my class in a couple of weeks. I've only been to Knott's once, I think, when I was really little. (A lot has apparently changed) I'm really excited but kind of nervous. Can anyone give me any tips or advice on rides or anything? Also, I'm thinking of trying out that ride, Xcelerator, but it looks really fast. My friends are trying to convice me to go on it, and I think I will, but I'm still scared. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!3 AnswersAmusement Parks1 decade ago
My middle school program is looking for some fundraising ideas so that we could purchase things for school at the end of the year. Keep in mind that this is middle school, so nothing to elaborate, please. So far, for fundraising, we have sold candy apples, wristbands with our school's name on them, and discount cards. Any more ideas? Thanks in advance!4 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education1 decade ago
Ok, I have a really important Spanish midterm tomorrow. I've started studying a while ago, so I'm OK study-wise. I intend to get a good night's sleep tonight, and eat a good breakfast in the morning, but I'm still kind of nervous. Does anyone have any advice on how I can perfrom at the top of my ability tomorrow? (What kinds of food to eat, what things to stay away from...) Since, it's Spanish class, there's also a speaking portion of the test, where there is a picture and I have to describe it. Any tips on how to not fumble and trip over my words for that part?
Thanks so much in advance! :)6 AnswersStandards & Testing1 decade ago
Ok, I don't have my textbook with me today, so I can't anwer these questions (Even if you can only answer one, it would help a lot. Also, if there are any website that could help me with this, could you please tell me? Thanks!!!)
1) What was the "spoils system"? Why did President Andrew Jackson favor it, and why was he criticized for doing so?
2) What was the nullification crisis? How did it demonstrate the growing split between the North and the South?
(By the way, this chapter is all about Andrew Jackson's presidency, and the events that happenend during that time, if that helps)

Ok, I need some help with my science homework, since I can't find it in my textbook. Here's the questions:
1) Why is oxygen transported as a liquid in rocket ships instead of a gas?
2) What crystal forms the basis of much of the microelectronics industry? What makes it so valuable?
Thanks so much! Even if you only answer one, it would help a lot. Thanks!1 AnswerHomework Help1 decade ago
