• Cheap nursing programs in raleigh, nc?

    i'm having trouble finding a community college or vocational school in the Raleigh, NC area that offers a nursing program. i'd prefer one that's partly online, so i could learn on my own time (and meet in a classroom separately so i could schedule my job around it), but all the online colleges i've seen are for RNs. i am not an RN--i... show more
    i'm having trouble finding a community college or vocational school in the Raleigh, NC area that offers a nursing program. i'd prefer one that's partly online, so i could learn on my own time (and meet in a classroom separately so i could schedule my job around it), but all the online colleges i've seen are for RNs. i am not an RN--i bet there are some nurses in Raleigh, NC, though....so what did you do to become a registered nurse/licensed practical nurse/or...whichever kind of nurse you are? please and thank you! :-) also, any advice you can give regarding this topic is most certainly welcome :-)

Question---> i want to know how many other folk out there have a similar occurance in their workplace, and if you don't mind, share some of the ''salutes'' as well? i think i have one of the coolest shops to work in b/c we have so many shop ''salutes;'' that is, a word or phrase that one person uniquely says, then someone else makes fun of it by modifying it slightly. then everyone else ends up repeating that modified version of it from time to time. nonsensical? you bet. but it's called a salute b/c it salutes the person it came from.

    yeah. i think it would be neat to have one, but does anyone out there have one? tell me anyhting you can about it. what do they act like? how much are they? litter trained, or more like dogs, gotta let 'em outside? what do you feed them?

  • Every autumn, this muscle on the inside of my arm hurts, why?

    i don't think it's bicep nor tricep, but it hurts every autumn. i do the same workout routine all year, nothing more or less during autumn, it just seems to flare up on its own. always the left arm, too. last year, i just worked through it and it eventually got better...this started...two years ago, and i'm getting tired of it :-p ... show more
    i don't think it's bicep nor tricep, but it hurts every autumn. i do the same workout routine all year, nothing more or less during autumn, it just seems to flare up on its own. always the left arm, too. last year, i just worked through it and it eventually got better...this started...two years ago, and i'm getting tired of it :-p any ideas why it happens and what i can do about it? taking rest days right at the onset doesn't seem to change anything. i took off five days when i first noticed the pains, when i usually work the same muscles every day. haha i just opened another can of worms with that ''but mike, you're supposed to give your muscles time to rest! that's why you're sore.'' no. if that's all you got, then click the back button and answer someone else's question :-p i've trained myself to be used to the strain of day after day workouts. they are nothing to me except for this one time of year. why?
