Oh hello, didn't see you there :) So about me, huh? hmm lets see... I ADORE the beach and surfing, I work on a mac, I'm a nerd with friends... (paradox much??), I'm pretty sarcastic as the name suggests, to me the glass is always half empty, I absolutely love Music (if you haven't heard of Sia, JUST GET OFF MY PROFILE), my favourite book is Life of Pi, and I'm just another teen. Feel free to e-mail me about anything, not like I have much to do... haha

  • Find the age algebra question help?!?

THIS QUESTION IS ACTUALLY DRIVING ME TO THE EDGE

I swear whoever helps me understand this is god.

A is now twice as old as B was when A was as old as B is now.

When B is as old as A is now, their combined ages will be 63.

How old are A and B now?

The answer key has set up the current situation as A = 2(b-(a-b)), and says A iso (a-b) years older than B, if that's any help!

  • Question about travelling with my saxophone?

I'm travelling to the US soon, and I have to take my alto sax. It's in a fitted Selmer case, so I think it'll be allowed as carry on, and they let you take instruments onto the plane. If I take it on as carry-on luggage, am I still allowed to have a small backpack? I really don't want to put it under the plane, considering the cost and all.

    Thanks for the answers!

  • So there's this guy I like... yes, another one of these questions?

    Hi there :)

So there's this guy I like, and have liked for quite some time. We don't hang out outside of school, but we text, Facebook chat and e-mail and all. I really want to know if he likes me back, but how do I approach this? I'm thinking of getting a friend to ask him, like the only friend who knows I like him, but I don't know what to do! If he doesn't have feelings for me, I still want to be friends since we get on really well. I'm way too chicken to ask him myself, so don't even suggest that! ha.

My friend says it seems like he likes me, but she's probably just being nice haha.

So any help/advice would be appreciated! I'm just getting really sick of not knowing.

  • Do you have to have a yes/no opinion when writing an essay? HELP!?

Sorry, I wasn't sure how to phrase the question correctly.

What I mean is when you write an essay, e.g. "Is the novel Life of Pi by Yann Martel suitable to study in year 8? Why or why not?" with that topic, can you say it may be suitable for the more competent students of year 8, or do I have to fully agree or disagree with the statement?

Thanks for the help, all answers appreciated!
