I am applying to a handful of schools this year, and I've reached the point where I need to start contacting admissions and my major's department to ask questions. I'm not really sure what specifically I should ask. One problem is that I'm relocating to Indiana, so all the school's I'm applying to are there, and until I move it's too far for me to visit the campus before the application deadlines are up. I want to know a lot about the schools to make up for that. The most important things to me are how good the English department is, the class size, and my ability to bond with and receive advice from members of my department. I just need help vocalizing these questions in a way that will make them easy for the people I'm contacting to answer.

  • How do you calculate variance on Microsoft Excel 2007?

I have all of my data arranged, ready to find the variance, but when I enter in the =Var formula, the text #Name? appears in my cell where the variance should be. I need to know this soon, it's for an assignment. I don't understand why it won't just calculate my variance in the cell.

Repairs would probably cost more than any one would be willing to pay for it. So I want to strip the car for parts and see what kind of money I can get for them. What I need to know is how do I decide which ones are worth selling, what kinds of parts people would even be looking to buy, and where I'll get the most money for them. There's a junkyard I could sell them to, but I want to be sure I can't get more money on say, Ebay, from an individual.

The movie wasn't one that was or was going to be released in theaters (at least not in the US). It looked like a fantasy film, or maybe just a very artistic one. The setting seemed to be in a desert, it was very exotic looking, with lot's of fancy costumes and rich colors. I believe there was some kind of butterfly predominantly featured in the ad. One of the characters looked to be a child. I know this is all very little to go on, not to mention I'm relating it from a year old memory, but I've been wanting to watch this movie and never caught the name of it. If this rings a bell for anyone, please help me out. Remember, this isn't a well known movie. It definitely was never in theaters. It has a middle eastern look to it, and stylistically it was very vibrant and beautiful...
