  • Birth Control and Delayed period?

My last period before starting birth control was the 19th of august. I started the Birth Control Pill on the 6th of September. I did them for only short two weeks because i having really bad side effects. I got my period on the 13th of september and had it for about ten days. thats the longest period ive ever had. I assumed because it was the pills. But it is now the 14th and i havent started my period. im not sure if it will fall around the same time as august or should be around the 12th like september. i think im just overthinking and freaking out....So what my question is could stopping the pill delay my period this month?

  • How can I tackle depression on my own?

I live in a new city hours away from all my family & friends. We moved here when I was pregnant because of my husbands job. After I had my baby, I started suffering from post parton depression. I'm so unhappy and it's affecting my marriage. I thought if I was ever in this situation I'd have the support of my husband, But no. I really need someone to just talk to, complain and vent, I have no friends and I'm a stay at home Mom so he's all I really have. But he's told me over and over he can't be there for me like I need him to. He wants to hang out with his friends and his has to work. I have no help or support and when I asked to see a therapist he told me we couldn't afford it. I'm going to go crazy feeling this way and I just want it to go away. I hate feeling so horrible all the time, what can I do about without my husband & a therapist?

  • Hiring a friend to babysit and?

My husband and I have our own businesses and a four month old daughter. We decided that it was a good time for me to return to work. We do not want to put our daughter in day care so we are going to have one of our good friends baby sit 12-9 fri, sat & sun.

How much should we pay her, should we bring my daughter to her or have her watch her at our house? The main thing is the pay, my husband said 50$ a day, is that too much or what's a good idea?

  • When will my daughter sit up on her own?

I understand all babies are different, I'm just wondering at how many weeks/months they start sitting up and crawling

My daughter is almost 4 months old (march 1st) and she babbles, can hold toys, likes to hold her own bottle while I feed her & she can roll over in both directions.

  • Problems with my husband?

I'm having problems with my husband. He's acting like a child & I seriously do not know what to do with him anymore. We just had our first daughter 3 weeks ago. He does not like to help with her whatsoever & now he starts fights like 24/7. Tonight he threw her bottle at me after I had asked him to feed - then left the home. We never ever had problems before we had our daughter. We always were a very happy couple & never argued. But I feel like he resents me and the baby - we changed his life to a way he doesn't enjoy. Last week he called me trash, a piece of **** & told me I was crazy & that was the reason know one loved me before him. Tonight I'm supposed to be going to my families house 5 hours away. When we made these plans we were both on good terms. Now I'm leaving on bad terms, I don't know where he is, he left his phone here so I can't even contact him. What do I do! I love him but I'm very tired of all the drama

  • What about co-sleeping? ?

I know people might think I ask a lot of questions on here - I just enjoy getting peoples advice & opinions, 'just sayin'. Anyway, I have another one :)

My daughter is now almost 3 weeks old. I can not get her to sleep in her bassinet! She will only fall asleep if someone is holding her or if she is laying on me or my husbands chest; The moment we lay her in her bed she wakes up in hysterics then falls right back to sleep once she's being held. & this all the time, not just during the night or day. So I've been letting her sleep with us or else I'm not getting any sleep! But I really DO NOT want her co-sleeping. What's good ways to get her used to her own bed?

    Thank you . :)

  • Sleepless nights with a 2 wk Old?

I'm 19, married & have a newborn 2 week old. My husband works a lot so I have to take care of our daughter a lot on my own. I'm ok with it because after xmas his business will be less busy so he will be spending more time at home. I'm very tired though since obviously no sleep is included on having a baby. What are some good ways to help her sleep & to help me cope with not getting any sleep?

Sometimes she does very well & only wakes up 2 or 3 times. But lately she's been very fussy. Thanks for the advice!

  • Is it ok to be nervous?

Hello. Me & My husband just had our first daughter on 11-1-11. We've been married a year today! I'm 19, he is 21. He has his own businesses in malls in the Bay Area of CA so he can get pretty busy. He comes home around 10 pm, so I'm alone most of the daytime. My mother has been with us since she was born & she has been a HUGE help. Anything I ask, she is more then willing to do. But tonight she is going home (5 hours away) and I'm going to start doing everything on my own. I'm doing great now, making her happy as much as I can. I'm nervous I'm not going to be able to do it on my own :( is there any advice on how to cope with the new responsibilities of being a mother & having to do a majority of it on my own? Thank you, please no rude answers.

  • Breastfeeding problems?

I just had my 1st daughter 5 days ago. She is gods blessing to me & My husband. I really wanted to breast feed but it is not clicking at all between me & her :( I'm so depressed that it isn't working out. The first two days in the hospital she was eating, but very little. Only 5 minutes every 3 or 4 hours. When I brought her home I could barely get her to breast feed. Maybe once during the whole Night. So I decided to supplement with formula, & still try to get her to breast feed. She has completely refused my breasts now. She wants nothing to do with me :( I tried to pump all day yesterday, so I could still give her my milk, just in a bottle. I can't even pump anything bCuz I'm so engorged. So I tried to manually express, which did work for a bit, But still couldn't pump. So I can't pump I can't get her to eat from my breast, even though I'm extremeley devestated & depressed this isn't working, I have to give up. My main concern is that she eats and has her little belly full. She also only poops around once every 24 hrs. :( I'm so worried about her...and her first appt is tomorrow so I will ask the doctor about that.

I am so engorged & in so much pain. My breasts are hard as rocks, swollen & I can barely stand it. So my question is, How do I get my milk to dry up? As fast as possible.
