My boyfriend had a belt break in his old rusty car, and since he wasn't near enough home to get it back here, and he wanted it done quickly, he took it to a shop that was right there. While he was waiting and trying to keep the dog calm (our pup was with him), they put it up on a lift. He didn't realize they were doing that until after it was done, because he wasn't looking through the glass into the shop, but when he saw he commented that he had been going to mention that his car probably wouldn't do well on a lift, but thought they would know that from the state of the old car. The belt is accessed from the hood of the car. We don't know why they lifted it. Anyway, they fixed the belt, but he got in and started driving and basically had no breaks. The car is old, but they did break it by needlessly lifting it. Are they likely to pay or should they, or is this just kind of a thing where if the car was that rusty, it's not on them?

I've been vegetarian for 9 years, almost my entire adult life, because I'm disgusted by what happens to the animals that go into the meals that I would otherwise eat. My father hunts, and it makes me so mad when people curl their lips or wince. My father is the one that taught me to respect animals when he took me hunting (we never got anything, likely by design but still.) If he kills something, it is killed humanely and eaten. What do people think goes into their hamburger? Slaughtering is much more disgusting, fearful process, and their lives in captivity are horrible and joyless. Hunted animals get to live naturally, free, and happy and then pass very quickly. So why is everyone so anti-inflammatory? As an ethical-vegetarian, I completely support hunting when the meat is eaten, so why doesn't any one else?

The toilet is apparently a bit faulty, so it got clogged twice this winter previously, so from now on we're supposed to use a lidless bin that we are supposed to take out weekly for used TP. Is this legal as a permanent solution?

Despite both of us repeatedly asking her to stop harassing us and send him seductive things, she continues. He doesn't want to report it, because he works with her and she is in a position of authority. What are some good websites to list her phone number abs mailing info that will spam her and maybe distract her for a bit?

Absolutely soaking wet. It's been 6 months- this won't stop. It's at least a few times a week. He isn't going to leave me, and everything is different. How do I make this stop? When will it stop?

The lump does not seem to be causing any discomfort; it just looks like a small slightly more red wart, possibly with a tiny black dot in the middle. She is a 55 pound American Staffordshire mix. He mentioned how he is not allowed to touch the Union s machines, despite managing the lab, and I didn t really understand, so I asked some more questions, and he said Union workers literally cannot be fired. I guess he works with somebody that literally came into work, shot another employee, did their time in prison, and they were required to be hired back for some reason? So that guy is working at the same company where he killed another employee a decade or so before. He said it is literally impossible to fire anyone Union. He s also worked with engineers that have had their hands smashed for touching equipment that the Union owns, and the person who had their hand purposefully smashed up was the one in trouble. Apparently the Union wants to protect the job of any person no matter how or what they do. Is that really true? That can t possibly be, right?

I have been increasingly more petrified of the dentist in my 27 years, and my new dentist finally offered a reason after I burst into tears waiting for the dentist to give the okay to fill my drilled open tooth. He thinks I metabolize anesthetic much, MUCH quicker than most people. Toward the end of the drilling, they had given me two extra shots of lido when it began to be unbearable. Those shots did nothing for me, and hoping if I gave it a minute to kick in, I requested to use the bathroom, and used that time to cry and try to compose myself. It never kicked in, and we had to a temporary filling. This time, they promised I wouldn t feel it, and they gave me a bunch of shots that were supposed to travel along my jaw bone or something. I couldn t believe it, when they started drilling, it honestly didn t hurt at all! I didn t know that was a possible thing that happened; I assumed everyone always kind of felt it. Anyway it still wore off toward the end of the drilling, they game me another shot, but I still had tears streaming down my face every time they used air or liquid for the filling part. Is this really because I have reddish hair? It s not even really red, it s more burnished copper. What can I do to not practically have PTSD after every dentist visit?

Yesterday I woke up to not one but both ears plugged up. I have small tubes or something, so ear wax buildup isn't that uncommon for me, but I've certainly never had both ears become completely blocked in one night. I even had done some ear cleaning the night before. I use those plastic scoop things, with the hope that it doesn't pack in ear wax like Q-tips. Maybe I scraped one ear too much, it was sore when I then did the Hydrogen peroxide flush. Oh, the sore ear is also popping a lot, and if I hold it just right, it gets unblocked. Could it be swollen or something? The sore ear feels like it has something in it, but maybe it's just irritated skin that gets tiny scabs, like you would get from scraping soft skin on something rough. More flushing with warm water and hydrogen peroxide is only helping the not sore ear. Thoughts on what's going on, or tips for declogging, or what's wrong with the sore ear?

I ve been not great in the past about caring for my teeth, but unless I m mistaken, they finished filling the cavities I d accumulated at my last appointment, six months ago. I was still on my parents insurance then, and I believe the dentist was very good. I had Medicaid after that, but basically I had to reapply, and I m just completely freaking out about this tooth. If I wait to go to the dentist another week, will I lose the tooth forever? Will I get a dental abcess or something?

How long should I wait after cutting to go to area without a respirator mask? Also, before I ever knew of any risks, I tried grinding the quartz a number of times, should I be visiting a doctor?

After 30-90 minutes or less, she panics and begins destructive behavior. We incorrectly tried to work withher earlier, and left her long enough for anxiety to begin, so now that we know, we are restarting. Tips?
