  • Should I go back and ask this girl out? Need advice?

So last weekend I had to take my car down to the dealership for an issue. When I walked in I looked to my right and saw the receptionist, who was stunning to say the least. We made eye contact for a second but I looked away (because I'm overly shy....). I just kept walking for about 5 or 6 seconds, maybe like 30 feet. When I went to go look back and get a second glance at her, she was staring right at me smiling!

So at this point I'm pretty freaked out. I didn't do anything because, again, I'm super shy. On the ride home I was beating myself up about it and decided when I went to go pick my car up I'd ask her out. Like a complete idiot, I go play tennis for two hours in the sun. When I get out of the shower my face looks like a freaking tomato from sunburn! Obviously, I didn't ask her out.

So all week I've been really upset about missing my chance and have been thinking of a way to get down there. The only excuse I have is that I kinda need a new hubcap, so I could use the "Oh I was passing the dealership and wanted to talk to someone about ordering a new hubcap" excuse.

My question is, should I even bother? Am I reading to much into this? She was really looking at me and had somewhat of a big smile. I don't know if it will be creepy to go back there. I mean, she might see right through my charade and think it's creepy I came back.

Any advice? I'm 21, not sure how old she is, probably around my age, if that matters.

    Thank you!

  • Not sure what to do about this girl, need some advice?

There's a girl that works at the grocery store I always go too. For the past few months I've been catching her look at me almost every time I go there. One time she just stared at me for almost a minute straight. I keep being told to just ask her out, but I'm almost certain she has a boyfriend. I saw her get into a guys car one night after work about six months ago and that was still around the time I would catch her looking. These situations make me nervous because I don't like to assume a girl is interested in me, but it really seems like she is. She's SO beautiful though, and I feel like it's impossible for her to not be in a relationship.

I'm not sure what to do. I was determined to ask her out next time I saw her (which was tonight, I always go to that store on Friday nights) but she was busy and its hard to get her alone. I just don't want to look like a dork! Whenever she says something to me I completely blow it. I'll just give a super short answer and look around or at the ground.

Really not sure if I should ask her out. It seems obvious that she likes me but I really don't want to assume that and end up looking foolish.

  • Should I send her flowers at work?

So I've been dating this girl for about a month now. We recently had a miscommunication and she got pretty mad at me. We didn't talk for about a day. We're talking again now but things seem a tad bit off. I know she loves flowers (the flowers on our first date were a big hit!) and was thinking of having her favorites delivered to her place of work. Is this weird? I don't want to come off as some kind of creeper, since we haven't been dating too long.

Opinions from the ladies would be appreciated! :)

  • Removing Static/fuzzy noises from a video with Audacity?

My videos have always had this fuzzy, static noise in the background. I just now found out how to remove it with Audacity, but I can't figure out how to get the audio from my video into Audacity. Everybody keeps telling me to do this and it's so easy, but nobody has told me "how" to actually get my video into the program. I know it works because others have done it. Could anybody help me out with this?

P.S. I'm using windows movie maker to compress the videos. Not sure if that helps.

    Thanks

  • Should I try to sort things out with her?

So there's this girl I talk to on Facebook a lot (she's a friend of a friend that I've only met once, but we started talking on FB) and we've become decent friends. We had been talking for 2-3 months until about 2 weeks ago. I was sending her a link to a video of a song that I spent forever trying to find. So I send it, I go to watch it and it doesn't load. I'm like "omg and now after all this it wont even load...", she said it was loading for her, I said (referring to the video) "pile of ****", then she says "well I'm glad you see yourself the way others see you."

I was pretty confused at this point. I didn't understand why she came back with something like that. I'm thinking maybe she thought I was calling her a pile of ****, but it was clear I was talking about the video not loading. I thought maybe she just didn't really like me that much and took this opportunity to let me know. The only thing is that she was fine the day before and she always wants to talk.

So anyways, I was kinda pissed off with that so I De-friended her. Now I'm wondering if I should try to sort things out and see what was up with all that, or just forget her and move on.

    Thoughts?

  • Question about video editing/rendering?

Ok, I'm trying to make a gameplay video with my voice for commentary and also have the games audio in the background. When I listen to the raw video file after recording, it sounds just the way I want it to, but when I put it in Movie Maker the audio from the game is gone. How can I get my voice AND the games audio to be in the vid? I'm saving it as a .wmv file.

Aaaand...while I'm at it I might as well ask this. If I record a video at a larger resolution (1600x900) and then render the final video at a lower resolution (1280x720), will it still turn out alright? I'm not sure if I should record at the same resolution that I render in, or if I can change that for the final product.

    Thanks

NOTE - I've asked this question before, but I'm not sure the guys that responded understood what I'm trying to do. There aren't two separate wmv files, I'm recording the gameplay (with the games audio) and my voice (through a headset). I have the recorder set to capture both. I'll put some links to a few examples down below.

    http://www.mmobomb.com/gameplay/hellgate-video

See how you can hear both the games audio and his voice? I can't imagine they used two different files and synced them perfectly. This is really bugging me. xD
