  • What does a typical day in the life of a Proctor and Gamble Retail Merchandiser look like?

I'm job hunting, and I'm trying to figure out what kinds of stores and set ups they do.

  • Has anyone tried the Urban Decay makeup setting sprays?

I saw them on and I'm doing makeup for a wedding so I was wondering if they really work.

  • What are the best websites to buy make-up supplies?

I've started doing make-up services at my spa, and I need to build up my kit. I've applied for the MAC PRO card, so that should help. But, where is the best place to get a brush roll or disposible applicators in big packs? Sally's sells the mascara wants and lip gloss applicators in packs of 12....that is not enough.

  • How can I prevent my clothing from getting holes?

I moved to New Mexico from Michigan about a year ago. I've just noticed that the hard water is making holes in all of my clothes. We've thought about getting a hard water softener, but is there anything else I can do? I literally keep finding millions of tiny holes in my shirts while I'm wearing them!

  • Is it wrong when your health insurance gives you certain money to cover something and you spend it elsewhere?

Last winter I had to get a root canal, followed by a very expensive crown. At the time, I was in school so I was under my step-mom's health insurance. The bill is very costly, and I haven't been able to come up with any money for it. My mom told me that the receptionist at the dentist told her that my dad took the insurance money, and it didn't go toward my crown. Is that illegal? I don't have any proof that he did this....

  • How long do I have to take my state board test for cosmetology?

I graduated in June of 2009, and a friend told me that I only have a year after I graduate to take my boards. I'll be taking it in Michigan. Also, my dad stuck me with a $6,000 school bill, so they won't release my 1500 hours until I pay that, and I live in the middle of nowhere on an Air Force base and don't have a job. So, is there any way I can schedule the board without having to pay that $6,000?

Any help is greatly appreciate. I am really screwed over right now.

  • How do I open a bottle of wine that has a cork that won't budge?

I just bought some wine, and the cork isn't sticking out of the top of the bottle, so it is extremely hard to open. The wine opener is screwed all the way in, and it just won't budge. What else can we do to get it to come out?

  • What is the best brand of lash and brow tint?

I'd like to dye my eyelashes black since they're very light and I wear black mascara. I might do my brows too, I'm not sure yet. The only brand I've read reviews on is Roux, which you can get at Sally Beauty Supply. But, does anyone else have any recommendations? I've colored brows before at cosmetology school, but not lashes, so I'm a beginner at this.

  • What are the fun places to visit in Roswell?

We're driving to Roswell from Alamogordo, primarily for the UFO Museum, but what are the other fun attractions for a 24 year old (me), my husband, and my brother who is 20. I asked this before and people told me bars, that is not an option. The other 2 art museums looked kind of boring. We're ADD so we need shiny objects and hands on stuff!

  • How do I handle a dog with fleas?

I just found 1 flea on my 3 month old pup. I used some Ultra Guard Pro, it's for dogs that are 31-60 pounds, but he's little and I didn't know what else to do. I'm freaking out. Does this mean there are more? I have another dog too, will she get them? And is it possible for the people living in my house to get them? I really have no idea what to do, which is why I'm asking. I'd appreciate real answers, not comments telling me that I'm stupid or making fun of me...there is too much of that on this site, and I'm not stupid. Thanks. I'm kind of paranoid because this dogs sleeps in the laundry room and I've convinced myself that everything is plagued now!

  • What are the best attractions in Roswell, NM?

My husband and I live on Holloman AFB, and my brother came down from MI for Christmas so we are thinking of going to Roswell since there is NOTHING in Alamogordo. What are the things to see and do there? And is there anything worth checking out on the way to Roswell?

  • What is wrong with my washing machine?

Recently, I've noticed that when my washer is done with a load, the clothes are sopping wet. This leads me to believe that something is wrong when the dryer does the spin cycle because I've tried using the spin cycle again to get rid of excess water and it's not doing the trick. I know I'm not putting too much laundry in because the other day I put like 3 things in and had the water level on low. What's wrong?

  • What's the best yoga dvd?

I was taking some yoga classes at the gym on my air base, but I'd like to be able to do yoga at home by myself. What's the best yoga dvd to get? I'd call myself a beginner, but I don't want something that won't give me a good work out. Thanks for your help!

  • Where can I get a good styling chair?

I've recently graduated cos school but right now I'm unlicensed and I work at Sally Beauty Supply. I was looking at the chairs that they have online, but I don't know how I feel about spending $200 on a chair that I've never sat in or seen. Plus, I don't even get an employee discount. I'm going to be using it for at home, since my husband is military and I do a lot of haircuts for his friends and mine. I want a good chair that I can have for a long time. Any suggestions? I don't want to spend a fortune on it.
