I'm a university student, and I'm looking into getting a new laptop since my previous one was way too big (more of a desktop replacement) and slow.
I want something light and small. Not looking to play games or watch movies; just the basic email, internet, taking notes, and maybe listening to a few songs during breaks. Maybe a few youtube clips haha =P The usual basic stuff. My budget is around 850 or less. I prefer a somewhat reliable laptop, enough to last me until I finish my bachelor's which is another 2-3 years.
I've looked into Best Buy already, and I've noticed these 2:
The small 8.9 seems pretty good and fits my needs. But I'm not all that tech-savy...what's the digital input/output? Windows Vista Business is pretty good too, right? Would the screen be too small?
The Toshiba 13.3 seems good too. I haven't been to the store to check them out yet, but both seem good, and I'm not sure what else I should look for.
What does everyone think? Which one would fit better?
Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks! (if it matters, I live in the Vancouver, Canada region)
