But we just found out that my grandpa lied to the bank and said he lost his card, so he wants a replacement card (to continue using despite owing money already). My dad talked to him already but it doesn't seem like he's listening and just kept saying he thought he lost the card, and that he went to get money today and forgot to bring his card, so the bank gave him a new one etc. Is there anything we can do to stop him from overspending? Can we request the bank to put a limit on his bank account so it doesn't go into overdraft or anything like that? Thanks.

I'm one of her bridesmaids (she has 7, but 1 can't make it already), but would it be okay to skip out on the Vegas portion? I've seen the possible itinerary the Maid of Honor drafted up and the costs for just hotel + eating out + parties seem expensive already, and there's still plane tickets as well. I'm also not much of a drinker, and don't like clubbing/bars either... The bridesmaids are all sharing the bride's costs, and I don't mind paying it even if I don't go. But I don't think I can afford to cover my own travel expenses and her's as well. However, I'm not sure if the second city she has in mind is a vacation that the bride will pay herself or if it's part of the bachelorette party. Suggestions appreciated!!

Recently, they have had many issues, and A wants to, in her will, leave her share of the house to B's grandkids (whom she is closer to, and cares for). But after consulting with a lawyer, she was told that she cannot transfer her share of the house to her grandchildren, but can only do so to her other children. A does not want B, her son to know about this. Is there any way out of this for A? What can A do? Because B, her son appears to want the house all to himself and not leave/share much of anything with his kids. A is worried that her grandkids might be kicked out etc. cause they are almost old enough to care for themselves. Any advice is much appreciated, thank you!

He claims since the business is not making money, he will be selling it soon, but he needs money. He also claims that because of a contract, he has to wait a little over half a year before he can try to sell it, so he needs money from us now. We are all confused, because we thought that since he is the owner/landlord? of the business, why does he need to wait for this contract in half a year, can't he start selling the business now, by talking to brokers/agents etc.? We are wondering if it's possible he remortgaged/refinance?? the property to get more money, and that is why he can't sell it until half a year later. Before we question him, is there any idea as to what this "contract that expires in half a year" means? Thank you all so much!

The problem is, I was going to college full-time, and working 3-4 days a week throughout college, so I'm actually lacking a lot of volunteer experiences or other outside activities. So I don't actually have that many references. For my current job, I've found out that my supervisors can't give out references at all. The only reference the company can do, is if my future employer checks in, only the Hiring Managers can respond, and they can only read off the "grades" and comments in our yearly reviews. But for many of the associates I've talked to, they said that their reviews - especially for this year - aren't good because of the economy. In certain categories, it may even say not achieved. Should I still include my current job as a reference? I can get references (more on the personal side) from coworkers, but my supervisor says she's not allowed to do one at all. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
