  • Anyone use rc boat to retrieve downed goose?

I can't carry my boat to this private pond that I found, but it is too deep and too far out for some birds so I have not hunted here.

I can't have dogs due to my children having allergies.

Anyone use a RC boat to retrieve downed geese?

Also, some more information on what type of RC watercraft may be the best suited for this role would be helpful.

  • Apartment caused damage to my car?

I was leaving the underground garage and the automatic garage door opener is out of order at this time.

As I was leaving, the roof rack caught the string attached to disengage the door and pull down the metal bar which damaged the roof of my car.

What is the course of action that can be taken? Is the apartment responsible in paying the damage at all?

  • Should I report this to the ATF?

Normally, I would just report this and let the law take its course, but I don't want to ruin someone's life.

    1. So I posted a firearm for sale and this potential buyer contacts me and asks me to ship it directly to him (this is a hunting shotgun).

    2. I respond to him that all interstate firearm transfers must be sent to Federal Firearms Licensee.

    3. He tells me that is wrong and he knows the law and he does this all the time.

    4. I point him to the ATF law and he asks me if this is a recent change. He tells me he is a cop and that he has done this in the past year.

I know the law well when it comes to firearms as I know ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law. I feel that I need to report this, but then I am not sure if ATF really does anything. What is the right course of action in your opinion?

  • Shouldn't UN support the Syrian government in putting down the rebels?

It is unfortunate that UN could not get that Arms Treaty passed. If it was passed, the Syrian government could mow down these evil rebels that want freedom and peace.

Only "legit" government should be allowed to keep firearms to prevent this kind of terrorism. My prayers go out to these dictators and their family in killing the innocent citizens and disarming them as quickly as possible so no future uprising can occur by the people demanding stuff for the people.

So shouldn't UN be supporting the Syrian government?

  • What should you do with a malfunctioning AR-15? Firing burst malfunction.?

I was at the club range sighting in some rifles and another member there had malfunctioning AR-15 that was shooting burst (2-3 at most) and he was puzzled and I was puzzled as well.

I personally didn't want to take apart the lower to see the internal parts as this is an outdoor range and it was getting dark, but we tried to figure out what was going on.

    Some details:

    1. The firearm was not hot (not a cook-off)

    2. The firearm is not old and maybe has 2000 rounds

    3. The firearm is full factory built

    4. It was not bump fire

I knew he had to get it fixed right away and he wanted to as well since the weapon misfired after the burst fire. Should he send this back to the factory or replace the fire control groups himself and dispose of the older parts?

Please don't provide stupid answers. It is illegal to knowingly own firearms like this and I want to give him the right advice as well.

  • Should I SBR my MP5F pistol?

Finally got another MP5F built from all german matching parts. Very costly and a little over $3000 later, I am wondering if I should go through the process of SBR with this pistol. While the MP5 has no negative issues in SBR form compared to other rifles, my issue is more of the hassle with paperwork, moving, etc.

Let me know what you did as I am sure people have been in this situation before.
