I would like to find the lyrics to the above song which I heard many years ago (probably the late 60’s). The one verse I remember went something like this:
Ride through the gone days, the playgrounds of time,
Where fun was a game, but the young always won,
Where love was the puppies that lived down the street
And pain was no Root Beer, or cookies to eat.
I’ve tried to Google it every which way I can think of, but get nothing. If someone could link me to anything about this song, provide me with the full lyrics, and/or tell me who it was by and on what record, I would greatly appreciate it.
