Lying to taxpayers and voters? No Legal consequences at all.
And yet, it's mostly the taxpayers and voters that install these people into our government.6 AnswersGovernment2 years ago

Isn't this more Dividing than Unifying saying that Democrats are not considered to be part of "The American People"?
White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders accused Democrats of "openly choosing to keep our government closed to protect illegal immigrants rather than the American people." see link for quote1 AnswerGovernment2 years ago

Maybe ties to Saudi Arabia, Russians, China, Cuba.7 AnswersOther - Politics & Government2 years ago
No Media Features or Windows Media Player in Windows Features - Turn Windows features On or Off - help?
I run "windows vista" "32-bit" "home premium"
When i go into Control Panel - Programs - Turn Windows features on or off - There is NO checkbox NOR category for "Media Features"
I don't know how it could have been deleted, but I want to have it because I need Windows Media Player.
How can this be missing, and is there a way to ADD both Media Features and then Windows Media Player?
is there a registry entry i have to tweak - or a download i can perform?
I DO NOT have the Installation media for my Vista as it was installed on my desk top PC back when I bought it.1 AnswerSoftware7 years ago
If you ask me, our elected Congressional and Senatorial Representatives are certainly wealthy enough to pay for their own Health Care - Instead of having us Taxpayers pay for it - what on earth are they doing for us as representatives to earn or deserve FREE Healthcare when they vote against anybody else getting it? In light of the Boston Marathon Bombing, our ongoing War Against Terror, and the whole "If you see something, say something - even if you're not sure if there's a danger or not" policy these days, would you have called the police if you saw what I saw today?
As I'm entering a McDonalds, a guy enters before me with a backpack across one of his shoulders, with an object inside this backpack as large as a pressure cooker. It turns out he's an employee because he walks right behind the counter and by other workers there. Nobody says a word about his bulging backpack.
I was tempted to ask the manager but since none of his co-workers said anything, I thought to myself as I drove away - well, if I hear of an explosion some time today in this area, I'll report what I saw then. So I saw something but said nothing4 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police8 years ago
holding hands or wanting to walk arm-in-arm
asking inane questions - possibly to make a point or to even just talk to spark something related
kissing in front of others - friends, public - not a full-on make out always, sometimes a respectable lip smack
being silly - this is in the eyes of the beholder, isn't it?
favors requested - as i do many when she requests them as well
perspective comments - trying to look at situations from all sides, not just hers
trying to be humorous or make smile - see being silly?
reminding of promises unfulfilled - well meant, but never coming to fruition
wanting to help or support - is this thought of as smothering or crowding?

I remember when I first heard about the earnings gap between workers and CEOs in the USA. I thought, good for them - but when you realize that these CEOs were capitalizing on, among other things, War Profits, People's Health, Resource extractions - while being the largest Pollution-causing corporations, Privatization of our Prisons and then packing them to overfilled, Students Credit to begin their working lives in debt already.
And they shipped our jobs overseas and got bonuses for doing so, most free from taxation or paying very little, or put in tax shelters in the Caymans, Swiss Banks, and others we probably don't even know of to avoid paying their share of taxes and not seeming to care about going in to debt with China..
They are forever attempting to reduce benefits on "workers" for being, unfortunately unemployed, raising a family, in poor health, hungry, at the mercy of acts of God, people who are underwater on their mortgages because Wall Street is legal gambling with "worker's" pensions and savings.
Because some corporations provide services for the "workers", these people that gained Success in these ways, should be made to profit some, above- breaking even, but never double, triple or 300% profits.
All "workers" want is Accountability - and a fair Congress9 AnswersPolitics8 years ago
I can sympathize with them wanting George Zimmerman and the Police Chief accountable, but look at the Lobbyists for Walmart to flood everywhere with arms and the NRA to govern it, and Bush signing the Right to Defend Law.

Would you agree to a world jubilee of all debt forgiveness at the same time, no bankers, CEOs get prosecuted?
everybody in every country starts with a clean slate, American businesses return to America, American troops return to the states, and all parties involved in the economic crisis adhere to regulations that prevent that from ever happening again and are not prosecuted for their misdeeds.1 AnswerOther - Politics & Government9 years ago
