  • Screenwriting format help. (Double Identity)?

    So, here's the story:

My character's name is Mr. FN, posing as Mr. Orange (getting the reference, yet?). The audience already knows that his real(?) name is Mr. FN, since the scene in question happens later in the script. Through most of the scene, he uses his Mr. Orange persona. Later, at the very end, he reverts back to Mr. FN.

My question is: What would be the format of the script?

Would it be like any of the ff:

a.) MR. FN (AS MR. ORANGE)

    b.) MR. FN

    (as Mr. Orange)

    c.) MR. ORANGE (MR. FN)

    d.) MR. ORANGE

    (Mr. FN)

  • Does hitting/shooting/subjecting an unarmed nuclear weapon to any kind of stress will disable it further than make it explode?

I read somewhere that, in real life, say, if you have a nuclear bomb and you start hitting it as hard as you can, not only will it not detonate, but it will be discharged instead, and therefore, not explode to an atomic scale or at all. That is, assuming it's unarmed, as of now.

According to what I read (and summarizing it to laymen's terms), doing so would disrupt the the explosives by God knows how many milliseconds, and it would be enough not to create a proper fission (or is it fusion).

  • How long does it take to recover body mass after a long coma?

Say, a person was in a coma for God knows how long. Say 1-3 years? How long does the PHYSICAL recovery take, before that person can recover most/all of his body mass and start running again like a triathlon athlete?

Optional: While we're at it, how long does it take to get the same results if the person was in a coma for 9-10 years? (I was playing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The MC, 2 weeks after waking up, regain most of his body mass after another 2 week. Having a hard time buying that.)

Optional: How long is the PSYCHOLOGICAL recovery if coma is 1 to 2 years and 9 to 10 years long?

  • What would the government do if someone (somehow) has a copy of a secret database with every information of the country?

Think of the scenario from the TV series Chuck: A guy was given a secret database that has updated information of (almost) everything and everyone in the world, international and domestic. Now, if this was just a COPY and the government still has their database in their computer, how would the REAL government react? I could only think of 2 different ways this could go?

    1) They would capture the guy and keep him away from ear shot of the world. or.....

    2) Kill him regardless of status/gender/age.

My question is, which is much more prioritized? Just kill or just capture or kill but capture if possible?

Yes, it's for a book (wattpad, actually).

  • How to square root a number by hand?

I remember being thought this back in Elementary on how to square root a number by hand. It's something similar to how you divide a number by hand. The thing is, is that this was never brought up again in high school and college and we have to rely on calculators instead.

It should go along the lines of: Divide the number by groups FROM RIGHT instead of LEFT with 2 units each (leave 1 unit on the left if odd number of units), and from there, I forgot the rest.

  • What's going on with Yahoo Answers?

Every time I click at my questions, they say that the questions does not exist or is being reviewed. I thought that I violated some terms and agreement, but when I started checking other questions that are not mine, the same thing happened; whether the question is old or just minutes ago. Am I the only one who is having this problem?

  • Does the brain directly factors/affects in the wound healing process?

More specifically, does the brain (theoretically speaking) have the power/capability of being able to command (almost) every cell in the body? Like healing a scrape or a cut or even life threatening wounds like gunshot wound or stab wound? of even adjusting body compositions, like being able to look like time slows down for you.

BTW, I'm not asking for realism, just Hard Science, or enough to be feasibly/theoretically possible. Even if it means exaggerating some of stuffs.

NOTE: Please refrain from posting a site or an article. Just get me a doctor or an exert in the field of biology/neurology/or who ever is in the similar field.

  • How does amnesia work in real-life? (Doctors only, please)?

Yeah, I'm writing a novel (ok, it's actually wattpad) about a guy who woke up in a coma with an amnesia. And I'm trying to make everything (as) realistic (as possible).

In movies (or any fiction material) if someone is in a coma (say, for a year or two) and then they wake up with an amnesia, not knowing who they are or what their past is, but they know what language/s they (can) speak and what bizarre skills they have. Later on, they are shown to do stuff seemingly by instinct (like knowing how to cook or martial arts, etc.) and then after like 1-3 in-story weeks (or even years), they start to remember stuff from their past (i.e. he's a secret spy for the government or some BS story twist) and by the end of the story, they somehow know EVERYTHING.

But that's how fiction depicts amnesia. How much of this is true? Take into account that he has been in a coma for a year or two, which is more than enough time for you to lose some muscles and dull your "previous" senses and knowledge. If a person is multilingual by education, will they still remember all of those languages? Can you even retain some of the martial arts skills that you had after 2 years of lack of practice and muscle lose or is it the nerves? and most importantly, can a person who is suffering from amnesia for more than a year (or 7 years) remember all, or at least, some important bits about his life pre-amnesia?

Also, if possible, how do you treat amnesia?

And no links, please, just give me a straight answer

  • How many people (w/ an average BMI) can a bullet go through?

And before you start thinking I'm gonna kill like 20-something people with just 1 bullet, let me just put this out really quick that this is for a novel (ok, it's actually wattpad) idea. As I am aiming for boring realism over over-the-top fiction, 'cause that way, you can see that it's simply awesome than something awesomely impractical.

Anyway, back to the topic. Assuming that due to being blessed by suck or cursed by awesome, can bullets really penetrate through 5 Nazis (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) or is it Holywood physics? I'm specifically asking for:

.22 Long Rifle (Colt Woodsman Third Series)

    9x19mm Parabellum (Glock 18)

    9x18mm Makarov (um.....Makarov?)

    .380 ACP (Bodyguard)

    .45 ACP (Colt M1911)

    FN 5.7x28mm (Five-Seven)

  • Can anybody help me with this C++ code?

I'm making a Student Database Program with DEV C++. This is the site on where did I got the codes:

    http://www.lovelycoding.org/2012/04/student-databa...

And this is the codes that I made:

    http://i.imgur.com/D9QtQQB.jpg

I modified the codes to make it simpler (for me and my class) to understand. There is no problem if you enter 1 and 5 but if you enter 2 (and POSSIBLY 3 and 4) that is where the problem starts. So what do I need to remove/replace/add to the codes to make it work? Also, please tell me what is unnecessary to the code so I can delete it? Advance Thank you

  • Is the upcoming Fate/Stay Night (2014) by studio Ufotable a remake of the Fate/Stay Night (2006) by studio Deen?

I haven't started the series yet, but I will, eventually. I'm just asking if it is a remake, like KyoAni's adaptation of Kanon (2006), or not. Because if it is, I may have to just skip the 2006 version and just finish the 2014 version before watching Zero.

  • What viewing order should I watch Kara no Kyoukai (The Garden of Sinners)?

I'm going to watch it for the first time. However, like Haruhi Suzumiya, it's not in chronological order. Now, I already know the chronological order but what would be a better experience? Airing order (1-2-3-4-5-6-7)? or Chronological Order (2-4-3-1-5-6-7)?

P.S. I saw Haruhi Suzumiya in Haruhi Order (Chrono order) first

  • Can anybody remember this scene from an anime?

This is how I remember it:

There was this guy who brought a canister to his class. It looked like the ones that you put coffee into. He left it at his desk. Then later a guy started to eat something spicy and he thought the canister contained water so he drank from it. Later the guy returns and discovers the canister opened. He later said that the canister contained some "dangerous stuff" and he sealed all the students in the classroom so they wont "infect" anyone. However the guy has the only cure and is good enough for only one person. So they decided to have a lottery draw only to end with the guy (who is calmly reading a book) winning. The students were angry and decided to attack him only for the vile containing the cure destroyed. Later a teacher breaks the seal of the door and the students just ran outside. Later the guy goes to the clinic with a girl and shoots the lock (yes, with a gun) and orders the girl to strip. Later the students who are "infected" got their cloth ripped into shreds because of the said "virus"

It was a long time ago so I have no idea what the guy or the girl or any of the other characters looks like

  • How to find dy/dx of this equation by implicit differentiation? (Answer ASAP)?

    So this is the equation:

    (sqrt x) + (sqrt y) = [sqrt (xy)]

I tried to answer it for more than 3 freakin' hours (not even kidding) and came up with the answer:

    dy/dx = [y - (sqrt y)] / [(sqrt x) - x]

Can someone check if my answer is correct or do I still need to do something to simplify it more or is it far from correct.

    Please and advance Thank you
