• High blood pressure from simple exercises?

    When I walk around a shopping center, climb a few flights of steps, or do semi-strenuous activities my Blood Pressure is rising to around 140-160 over 87-96. I had some slight pains in my chest and stomach which have gone away. I have a pretty good blood pressure at around 123-136 over 77-87 RESTING.     When I walk around a shopping center, climb a few flights of steps, or do semi-strenuous activities my Blood Pressure is rising to around 140-160 over 87-96. I had some slight pains in my chest and stomach which have gone away. I have a pretty good blood pressure at around 123-136 over 77-87 RESTING. My problem is I just feel very weak alot of the time (past month), NOT ALWAYS. I have been having major problems getting out of bed lately feeling like I could sleep all day. I think I was having some heart palpitations recently, but it could be stress due to not knowing whats wrong. I had two EKG's and a 3 blood tests in the past month but nothing wrong. I thought it was my thyroid, so they tested my thyroid hormones, but DID NOT SEND THE TEST OFF, just did the initial instant test they can do in the doctor's office. I have heard a magnesium deficiency can be almost identical to a thyroid problem. Could being simply out of shap make BP rise from walking? Anybody got an idea???
