I live in colorado. I have a son who just turned 7 years old. I have very overbearing "in laws" (this is what I call them, their son and I are not married) who think its their right to see my son whenever they say. I have never agreed to this but my boyfriend used to do it behind my back. It frustrates me. I've tried talking to them and him but nothing has changed. Today took the straw though. Ok a little background before I continue. My sons grandpa isn't his real grandpa. It's his step grandpa. Who never adopted my sons dad. The grandpa is also a lieutenant so he thinks all rules don't apply to him. So today. He came into my house without my permission. Tried to take my son. I told him no and was standing in the doorway to my sons room. He picked me up over his should, threw me down and took my son. Then asked if I'm bipolar because I was freaking out. I'm so over their ****. I want a restraining order on him. What would you do in my situation?5 AnswersParenting7 years ago
My son is 5 and his father is a pushover and is easily defeated. With me saying a little something, I woukdnt see my son, ever. They think because they have money they are better suited to care for him because they buy him things.
I'm told if I want to see my son I need to call them. When I do, they are busy and come up with excuses. They tell me if I feel like they're stepping on my toes, to tell them but if they already have this in their head, why should I tell them? I'm sick of being polite and being a pushover so how do I politely tell them to back the f*ck off?4 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships9 years ago

I have a cd full of important documents that I saved after my old computer crapped out. I need to get a document from the CD but i noticed that the cd is scratched on the top (the colored part) and now my computer won't read the CD. Is there any way to fix this so the computer can read it?3 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade ago
