I have my yahoo email address linked to my college email address so I receive emails sent to either account. However, I can't figure out how to control which address my emails are being sent from. I would like them to be sent from my school address, not my yahoo one. Does anyone know how to do this?2 AnswersOther - Yahoo Mail6 years ago
I'm going into my junior year of high school and have just begun my college search, so I was interested in any input that some of you may have. I'm a good student, probably graduating the top 10 of my large public school. I ranked in the top 6% of college bound juniors when I took the PSATs as a sophomore, I play basketball with some potential of being a captain next year, and I started and am president of a cancer awareness club (my mom was recently diagnosed). I know I'm not the best around, but I was hoping to maybe land a full tuition scholarship for college. I was wondering if anyone knew of any schools that offer these scholarships that are located in major cities that I could have potential to get. I'm looking at cities like Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and DC. Any input is appreciated!2 AnswersFinancial Aid8 years ago

I absolutely love this style of boot:
However, these are a little out of my price range. Can you help me find a similar pair for a better price? Also, does anyone know the name of this style of boot? Thanks!
I personally was disappointed. I love the series, but Mockingjay just didn't do it for me. It wasn't nearly as fast paced as the first two novels, and there were a lot of boring parts. Also there was no romance at all! Gale and Katnis were constantly fighting and when they weren't it was only a kiss here and there. And I was expected a huge beautiful reunion between her and Peeta, but then he just tried to kill her. Even when they began to fall in love again it was totally unromantic. So disappointing!
I also thought the killings were unneccessary. Boggs... Finnick... PRIM. HORRIBLE. And what was up with Katnis agreeing to another Hunger Games with the Capitol's children. That totally threw me. It changed the way I thought about her. I definitely thought she would side with Peeta and not make anyone else go through what she did. No matter who they were. She said she was doing it for Prim... which makes no sense. Does anyone else get it?
Finally, I thought the book made Katnis out to be just a bad person. It rubbed me the wrong way. It made it seem like she wasn't really in love with either Gale or Peeta. She just wanted to kill Snow and didn't care who died in the process. And at the end she was just crazy. I don't know... I just felt like venting here and I'm curious as to what everyone else thought...?3 AnswersBooks & Authors9 years ago
"In other words, food has consistently been the cause for numerous changes to humanity throughout history. "
It says what I am trying to convey, but I feel like it's a little awkward specifically "changes to humanity throughout history". Key words to keep in there are "consistently" and "changes".3 AnswersWords & Wordplay9 years ago
I'm going to do some back to school shopping today and I don't know what to get. Can you provide links to cute clothes or outfit ideas? I'm going to be a sophmore in high school and some of the stores that I like are American Eagle, Charlotte Russe, Aeropostale, Hollister, Rue 21, Macy's and JCPenney. Thanks!4 AnswersFashion & Accessories9 years ago

I'm traveling to Dublin in a couple of weeks and I really want to buy some claddagh jewelry. Where in Dublin can I buy it? And about how much is it sold for there? I already have a ring, so I was thinking either earrings or a necklace.2 AnswersDublin9 years ago
I'm leaving for London tonight and I need to buy souvenirs for my mom, dad, and friends while I'm there. Any good ideas? My mom is just your typical mom, I was thinking jewelry or even something Harry Potter-related. My dad likes sports and food. My friends are just average 16 year old girls. Any ideas?3 AnswersLondon9 years ago
I know the premiere is July 7th, but everywhere else the movie opens on July 15th. I was just wondering if starting July 7th, all movie theaters in London will be playing the movie. Or is July 7th just when the actors can watch it?
Also, what are some movie theaters in London where I can see the movie?2 AnswersLondon9 years ago
I'm going to London and Dublin this summer and noticed that the average temperatures are much cooler than they are in the US. Since it is so cool, do people not care as much about being tan? .5 AnswersLondon9 years ago
I want to buy this:
But I'm only 15, so I'm not sure if I need a parent to buy them or not. Would I be able to buy these myself?1 AnswerOther - Health9 years ago
I'm visiting London in a few months and I was just wondering what to expect. I've been to NYC several times and was wondering how it would compare to London. Is London as big as New York? Is it as dirty? And what do you suggest I do while I'm there?10 AnswersLondon9 years ago
I'm fifteen and just over 5 feet. I want to get a cute pair of heeled or wedge sandals for summer that are casual enough for everyday wear but also not too high since I'm not used to heels. Can you please provide links to some cute pairs that are no more than $30? Thanks!2 AnswersFashion & Accessories9 years ago
I'm going to Europe in a few months and I'm not sure how best to avoid jetlag. I'm leaving the US at 6:00PM eastern time and flying for six hours to Dublin; when we land it will be about 5:00AM. Then I am immediately flying to London for an hour and half, and I will arrive in London around 9:00AM. My problem is that I will be flying overnight, and it will still feel like the middle of the night to be but really be 9:00AM. Also, I usually don't sleep very well on airplanes, usually not at all.
So how can I avoid getting jetlag? I don't want to spend my first day in London sleeping, and then have my whole sleep schedule thrown off. But I just can't fall asleep on planes. Please help.3 AnswersPacking & Preparation9 years ago
