Grew up in a log cabin; Last pres. of Whig party; opened trade with Japan, Installed first library in the white house. Died Mar. 8, 1874." Does anyone know where this coin came from? I looked through all the commemorative coins in the US mint and it doesn't say that there has ever been a Millard Filmore coin that was produced (or if it did I just didn't find it). I know they are supposed to release a similar version in 2010, but I've had this coin for a long time and don't know how I got it, it might have come from a relative.

So, I am going to look at a 2 year old filly this week that is "off the track" but not really, in that the trainer never trained her to race- he couldn't get her to loose weight or go fast so he just said the heck with it and gave her to a rescue group to help her find a career she is better suited for (like being my potential beginner lesson horse). She is dead quiet and apparently needs a good amount of leg to go forward (both of which are qualities I am looking for in a potential lesson horse down the road) and with a year or so of training and experience might be suitable to carry an inexperienced rider. I am going to ride her Thursday. I didn't look at her very closely when I was there in person because I was interested in a different horse at the time, but, from the picture on their web page does she look a little straight in the hind end or is that just the camera angle, or maybe the way she is standing? I think she looks just fine under saddle and seems to use herself pretty well. Also, If this horse and I get along I will probably be bringing her home in a week and they are currently calling her "Tina" which I don't really like. Her registered name is "It's Icy". Any suggestions for stable names other than Tina? Here is the link to photos and a video of someone else riding her. http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/disp...

She was inspected as a foal and scored an 8.0 for type, 7.0 for movement, 7.5 for overall Impression, and 7.5 for the total. I have the original pink registry form with 4 generations of bloodlines on both sides. If I chose to put her in the mare book, would I have to have her reinspected (she was only like 3 months old when she was first inspected and branded)? The website information is not that great. According to the website, I'm pretty sure she qualifies. If I breed her to a stallion in a different breed regitary's stud book, is the foal still eligable for registration (in Oldenburg or a different breed registry) if I don't put my mare in a mare book? Thanks

I am currently searching for a saddle that I like, she likes, and that is affordable. I sat in a Pessoa Anky Competitor (?) that had the buffalo grain leather and I loved it. My leg felt more relaxed in that saddle that even in the County saddles I usually ride in. I have never ridden in a Pessoa and don't know much about them at all. Does anybody have this saddle or another pessoa? What is the quality like, how long have you had it, and how is it holding up? Anything else you want to add, please do. I could see that the quality is not as good as a County, but County saddles are known for their superb quality. Thanks!

The salary isn't great (probably like $25,000 a year), but in my field it's not always easy to find a regular salary at all and the job is something I would really like to do, so I am planning on taking it. The problem is they do not have on site housing and there is almost nothing to rent in the area except a couple of trailers about 30 minutes away for $425/month plus utilities. I have only ever lived with my parents and in college housing and so don't really know if I'll be able to afford it. I would have car insurance, gas, electric, water, cell phone, telephone, a horse (likely with free or significantly reduced board so just vet and farrier-and selling him is not an option as he's relavent to my job), most likely cable and internet, groceries, and possibly health and dental insurance.

I wanted to play the Sims 2 Pets and it installed ok and then started to work then froze and I had to shut it off and uninstall the expansion pack. I have no idea what my graphics card or any of that is right now- whatever was normal I guess. What can I do (if anything) to allow the game(s) to run?

I am currently using my college's saddles for my horse (which I love- he is in a Medium 17 1/2 County Connection for dressage and a County jumping saddle- I forget which kind). I have a synthetic jumping saddle (Dover Saddlery) right now and it is a medium, but it doesn't fit him anywhere near as well as the County's. A saddle that fits really well is a high priority because he has some issues at the moment that need to be worked through and tends to "buck/rear" with a saddle that fits him like it was made for him. Is that a really inexpensive saddle that will fit like a high quality saddle? I'm thinking that a wide tree saddle will probably be better for him since he has some muscling up to do and will pad it with a matess pad until he is more fit. Here's a picture of him- No Limits Dreamer. Thanks! http://www.houghton.edu/equestrian/meet_...
