I accidentally deleted my NVIDIA card drivers from my Windows 8 computer and now I can't connect to the internet. When I troubleshoot, it says, "The NVIDIA nForce 10/100 Mbps Ethernet adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware-related problems".
I'm on my laptop right now and I went on the NVIDIA website to download the drivers but I don't know any of the information (how can I find out the product type, series, etc) and I can't automatically do the system check since I don't even have internet to go on the website.
I'm planning on putting the driver setup on a usb and then installing it on my Windows 8 desktop.

1. What makes aquatic ecosystems sensitive to eutrophication? Are terrestrial ecosystems affected the same way?
2. How would an energy pyramid in a pond be affected by the effects of eutrophication?
Thanks in advance for your help :)1 AnswerEarth Sciences & Geology7 years ago
I start off my powerpoint presentation with a 20 second video in the very beginning and all the slides are set to 'Advance slide on mouse click'. However, I click to start the powerpoint, then at the end of the video, I click to show the next slide but the video just plays again.
And I checked, the 'Loop Until Stopped' and 'Rewind Movie After Playing' is not on. Also, I'm using Powerpoint 2007.1 AnswerSoftware7 years ago

I have 2 red eared sliders, I'd say they're about 8 inches in length, and my parents have moved their tank into the washroom, without their UV light. The window is pretty big, but I've noticed that the light which comes in doesn't hit the tank directly at any point in the day, it either passes the tank or doesn't hit it at all. My question is, is it healthy for my turtles to be with this amount of light? I've insisted to my parents that they need the proper light but they said, "no, they'll be fine in the washroom. As long as they're 'surrounded' by light even if it's not directly hitting them. They insist they stay in the washroom because since the tank is next to the tub, they say it's easier to drain. Before I've been doing the draining and then my dad would bring the tank to the washroom and pour the extra water out, and there isn't any plug point near their tank, so what do I do?2 AnswersReptiles7 years ago
I know they now live across Canada and the USA, but where did they originally come from, and is there a reason for the 'eastern' part of their name?3 AnswersZoology7 years ago

I am now in the IB program. I have been having a hard time to adjust in the 9th grade, but now that im in it, i think that getting the IB diploma and a somewhat high GPA is not worth it b/c i think that colleges dont really acknowledges it. when i look at my middle school friends classes and work its so easy and so much less stressful. would it be better to drop IB and just get a 4.0 in a easy class or 3.5~ or lower in the IB program?
My mom wants me to drop it and she insists that the university i want to go to (waterloo), doesn't care whether you did IB or not. My grades aren't all that great though. I have a 70 in math, 85 in french, 75 in science and 85 in music. What do I do, what do you suggest?2 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education7 years ago

The base of a hemisphere is also the base of an inscribed cone. Find the ratio of the volumes of the hemisphere and cone.
FYI: Volume of a sphere is : 4/3 pi r^3 and volume of a cone is : 1/3 pi r^2 h
Thanks in advance, this question has been driving me nuts the past few days.4 AnswersMathematics7 years ago
Ever since I started and even before I began grade 9 pre-IB, my mom has been on my case about 'not wanting to see me working so hard'. I just don't get it anymore. My parents expect me to barely study yet they expect good marks. My mom has always said, your marks don't matter, however when you get to grade 11 and 12, that's when they matter. All I want is a little support from her. Recently I showed her a progress report for math and my average was a horrible 69%. She didn't get mad, however she yelled at me about how badly she wants me to drop out of IB. The last thing she said before leaving the room was, 'From now on it's going to be my goal to make you drop out of IB. And I don't care what you say, if you get more marks like this in grade 10, I'm speaking to the principal myself and making you drop out.'
Normal parents want to see their child studying a lot, they want them to be in gifted programs and stay in it. My parents are the complete opposite and I feel like I have no support. What do I do?1 AnswerPrimary & Secondary Education7 years ago
It's my second month of high school in a gifted program and we recently received our averages for each class and I noticed that I'm doing pretty good in 3 of the 4 subjects. Math is the one subject where my average is 69%. Please don't say to get a tutor because the curriculum goes way too fast for a tutor to catch up (especially since we'd only be meeting up a few times a week, and considering in this program we learn a new lesson everyday.) In elementary school, math was my best subject, I got all 90s in math. So you can imagine the disappointment I felt when I realized I'm not doing too well in my best subject. So what do I do?1 AnswerPrimary & Secondary Education7 years ago
