Okay, so I've been seeing this guy for a few months. It's not an extremely serious relationship, although we have been sexually active. Recently, he decided to become a born again virgin. All religious differences aside, I'm NOT okay with this - I don't like being celibate! Would anyone else out there still date this guy if you were in my situation? This is just my curiosity, because you're not going to change my mind!1 AnswerSingles & Dating1 decade ago
This is going to be a long story, so bear with me! My cat totally attacked me last night just out of nowhere. I was laying on the bed with my boyfriend, not even moving, and he jumped up & onto my face. I have numerous scratches and bite wounds, including a chunk missing out of my cheek now. I was dripping blood by the time we got the cat off of me. About 5 minutes before the attack, I'd given him some medicine (ointment in his eye - I think my kitten might have scratched him while playing, have been treating since Monday), which he took as well as he normally does.
He's never attacked me quite this badly before. It's been a long time - months, at least - but he used to do a psycho devil cat thing where out of nowhere, he'd attack, but usually it was my leg, and I'd see it coming and close him in the bedroom alone for a few minutes, and then he'd be fine. And it was NEVER as vicious as this attack.
Anyone have any ideas as to the cause? I will def talk to my vet soon anyway!4 AnswersCats1 decade ago
Okay, here's the deal: there's a guy who is actually interested in me (which NEVER happens). He flat out told me that he wants to date me. Here's the thing - he's mentioned before that he's always wanted kids. If it had been up to him, he'd already be married with a couple. But I don't want kids (never have, never will) - he doesn't know that, though.
Obviously this is a big incompatibility... should I just tell him now, before we get into a more serious relationship, even though I do like him, too? I feel like probably I should, before any feelings get too serious (assuming that they do). We're both in our late 20s, so it's not like we're all that young ourselves.2 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade ago
I adopted a kitten from a shelter on Tuesday and I just noticed that she has some flea dirt. I haven't seen any fleas, but she has been scratching some. What's the best method to treat a 8-10 week old kitten? I took her to the vet yesterday and the vet didn't even notice (or say) anything about it, and I didn't mention it because I hadn't seen it yet!
I also have 2 other adult cats and even though they haven't had much contact at all, I'm assuming I'll need to treat them as well.9 AnswersCats1 decade ago
Okay, I'm thinking about getting a dog. It has to get along okay with my 2 cats. And I want it to be big enough that it might scare off an intruder (had a problem with break-ins!)... other than that, I'm not picky. I have a big yard, so that's not a problem either. So what kind of dog should I get?14 AnswersDogs1 decade ago
So I was seeing this guy - it was kind of a friend with benefits thing, not super serious. I found out he was posting online, trying to find another hook up. I ended things (I wasn't going to risk getting an STD cuz he was sleeping around - although he says he didn't meet any of the girls that emailed him) but now he's begging me to take him back. He's apologized and says he doesn't know what he was thinking and that he wants to be friends without benefits until I trust him again... so, do I forgive and forget... and let him back into my life? Or not?13 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade ago
